@Grumblevolcano Nah, I don't think you can shoot the multiplayer version, which is a thrown item instead of a set trap like in single-player. It'd be a pretty lousy deterrent if that was true.

OH CARP. It turns out the gushers used in Hidden Goldie rounds actually came about as a deal between Salmonids and Octarians. How did that happen?

Does anyone know what the point is in running Run Speed Up? Surely're you're either shooting of swimming, and I'm neither of those circumstances does he ability come into play...

@Maxz It's definitely situational, but it's about twice as effective as Swim Speed Up and makes a noticeable difference on grates and inkproof floors. None of the current stages seem super favourable for it though. Starfish Mainstage is probably the best one.

@Maxz It's a decent ability if you want to strafe faster, but otherwise it's pretty useless. The N-Zap takes pretty good advantage of it.

Wow, they're actually adding the Splat Brella so soon. I really thought they'd save it for a big update like Splatoon 2.0.

@Maxz Try the L-3 Nozzlenose. Because of the way shooting works with that weapon you return to your increased running speed very quickly after a burst.

@Nintendoer Well the Splat Brella isn't a new weapon type when considering Splatoon 2 as a whole so it makes sense for it to be an early weapon.

@Grumblevolcano Yeah, it pretty much was already in the game. They probably just had to tweak it a bit for multiplayer.

@Nintendoer Even further than that, you can probably already use the Brella (Hero Brella) in multiplayer if you beat all the single player levels with it. At least that's the unlock method for the other weapons.

@Maxz It makes you move a bit faster while shooting (I've tested this), which makes you a lot harder to hit while shooting. It's especially useful if you're one of those smart alecs who can run right up behind someone and shoot while walking around them.
