Topic: "Shinobi" Sega Ages no longer available on eShop

Does anyone know why this isn't available on the eShop anymore?

@LinktotheFuture did you look an SEGA's Eshop page?

@LinktotheFuture In the case of some sonic games, some of those were delisted from eshop when a new compilatin comes out that has the game. Maybe there's another sega compilation?

edit: Although, I'm struggling to find a sega compliation with shinobi.

@WoomyNNYes hmm, maybe a Shinobi collection of some kind, or maybe SEGA's doing another Genesis classics collection (like we need another one).

There's a Sega Genesis Classics, but it does not have Shinobi. ...It does have Revenge of Shinobi & Shinobi III. I can't help feel like there there's some legal rights baloney going on with this case of missing Shinobi.

It truly is annoying when games get delisted from eshop.

I think ether they took it down to update the ESRB rating, or it got removed in error like Ultra Street Fighter 2 did for a while.

@WoomyNNYes Also that was for PSN & Xbox, the Switch Sega Ages versions of Sonic 1 & 2 are still there, last I checked.

@Kermit1 No, I was checking my wishlist and instead of saying "Buy Digital", it says "Learn More". Click on "Learn More" and it says "This item is not available to download".

Well it's 2025 and still no Sega Ages Shinobi.... Hamster hasn't released it as part of their ACA series... there is no Sega Shinobi collection on the horizon

However, there is a new 2d side scroller Shinobi coming up for release.... but there still hasn't been any announcement of this returning to eshop or any sort of rerelease of any kind!
