In your opinion, what are some of the saddest/most emotional songs in Nintendo published games? One that comes to mind for me is Piranha Plant Lullaby- https://youtu.be/nYiAPRoZKuk
Favorite Games:
1. Super Mario Galaxy
2. Portal 2
3. Hollow Knight
4. Fallout 4
5. Persona 4: Golden
@Lindhardt I'm not sure where I heard sad music in nintendo games but I think there was some sad music in eternal darkness sanity requim. I have a question for you, how many switch games have you?
@Anti-matter, you're the first person to make me cry in over a year. And I am not an emotional person. That song is beautiful, especially remembering Iwata.
Midna's Lament from Twilight Princess, it made a young me cry.
This second one isn't from a Nintendo game but, it was a Nintendo Wii exclusive for a while and it's Manuela's Lullaby from Darkside Chronicles. It was a beautiful way to end the best Resident Evil ever made.
Midna's Lament (Twilight Princess. already linked above)
Fi's Farewell (Skyward Sword. Also linked up there; this one is a bit hard for me as it's linked to something a bit personal...)
Any of the Memory tunes in Super Paper Mario
Song of Healing (Majora's Mask)
A Full Moon in Garou (Golden Sun: The Lost Age)
The Champion’s Ballad, Breath of the Wild. Easily the saddest story arc they’ve had in any Zelda game. There’s no doubt in my mind that Iwata’s death inspired the champions’ story.
@Losermagnet This song is the most emotional, deep, and beautiful song I have ever heard. I am crying tears of joy, sadness, and euphoria at the same time. (referring to the yoshi song, of course)
