Hello everyone.

I bought my Switch from US. But I live in Turkey. So my account region was US. Recently I bought the Witcher 3 game. But It didnt have the turkish language support. So I contacted with CD Project Red Support.

They said;
"When buying digital versions of the game, the game will be attached to the region on your eShop used for purchase. Meaning that changing the region later will not alter language availability.

If you've purchased the game on the U.S. eShop you will have the languages available to that region (even if you change the region later). I'm afraid Turkish is not available to the Americas region of the game."

So in order to have turkish language support, I have to change my region and buy the game again. Then I can have the EU version of the game.

Just in case I wanted to ask you guys about this. Is there any way that I can change my game region to EU without buying it again?

You're games will default to the language of your eshop region, but if the game got turkish language support, I don't think you have to change your eshop region to play the game in turkish. Selecting language is an in-game setting. If the game never got turkish language support, then there isn't anything you can do to get the turkish language pack. Because they never made it.

This is a case where talking to Nintendo could help you. If that's difficult from where your are, i understand. Im going to take a look and see what i can find for you on the mean time.

Edit: on Witcher's eshop page, in the "software details" it lists all the available languages :
English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Russian

Unfortunately, there is no turkish support for witcher 3. In the future, you can always look up a game on eshop to see the list of supported languages, before you buy.

@Myowol That's unfortunate. But as far as I know, there is no way to change a game's region. It's as though you bought the physical version of the game - you get the same copy of the game digitally, that would be on the game card from that region. If the game in that region does not support the language, then the digital purchase, also from that region, is the same.
