I'll go for the 7 days trial first, then decide whether to continue with the service of not, but mostly I'll go since I want to play games online.

Making promise is easy. The hard part is keeping it.

No Canadian retailers seem to have NSO sub cards up. Just for once, I wish we weren't slow to the draw. Maybe tomorrow. In the meantime, I'll see about getting the free trial.

Don't need a sub card. Even a $20 eshop card will cover it. You'll be able to set things up to prefer paying out of your eshop currency first if you want.

It's 390 pesos in mexico, which is a little under 21 dollars.

All things considered it could've been worse.

@DarthNocturnal no tax on digital at least in my state so yes a $20 eshop card covers it over here. Also why not just purchase eshop credit online. You can get it digitally (they email you a code) at both best buy and Amazon I'm sure it's the same up there no?

@Alantor28 it’s possible. Everyone has been saying it’s possible.

We don't stop playing because we grow old; we grow old because we stop playing.

As far as the NES games go, which one will be the first on anyone's list to play? I've actually never played River City Ransom (GASP!), so I'm looking forward to playing that one. Might be an interesting one to try to play in online multiplayer mode as well.

I don't mind paying double or more if it's a solid service, eg. PSN+. I have one active account for years.

The state of Nintendo Online now is really insulting to anyone paying. It's like saying 'we want to earn some quick bucks but we've too lazy to come with something real. Therefore we will charge you a pitiful amount so you can't complain'.

Urgh.

I love Nintendo but not this...

For UK buyers £16.49 or £15.67 if you get a Facebook code (think you need a new Account).

For bargain hunters, the South African store is 262ZAR for a 12 month membership (£13.42 using Revolut) or a family membership is 459ZAR (£23.50). And yes Accounts from different regions can be added to that.

More like it'll tank and Nintendo will be forced into damage control.

@subpopz
I'm almost certain you can't use eshop giftcards to pay for the Online plan
