Topic: Ports, Ports, And All The Ports!

What is one game you still want to be ported to Switch. This can be any game. Retro, Wii U, or one from another console. For me, I really want these three games: Metroid Prime Trilogy (technically that is three, but still), Wind Waker, and Persona 5 Royal.

All of those are great choices. I want to have Dragon's Crown on Switch. It's so weird because it's like a perfect match, to the point that I was pretty sure that it was already on the console but it turns out that it isn't.

So when I was desperately hoping for 3rd party companies to find some reasonable game to port to the Wii U after support entirely dried up after 2013, the two games that immediately came to mind were Strider and Dark Souls 2. So part of me would kinda like to see that finally happen on an HD Nintendo console (though releasing Dark Souls 2 on Switch after Elden Ring's critical acclaim would be unintentionally kinda funny).

But in terms of games I've actually played, Valve's other games and Beyond Good and Evil HD.

I'm not sure how much interest there'd be in it now but I was always a bit annoyed by the new Tomb Raider trilogy not finding its way to Wii U and then also Switch. Not that I'm particularly interested in revisiting it given I've played through it on PC but still. It's a very well optimised series, I'm sure the Switch could handle it

Same deal with the Batman games although.... supposedly they're coming to Switch already?

As ide from Monster Hunter 3U (and 4U I guess), I kinda want an old and forgotten Wii game...Mercury Meltdown Revolution. I loved that game.

@skywake Yup, if I remember correctly it's the Return to Arkham collection, so it would just be City and Asylum if that's true. While I would have loved to play Origins since I miss that one I'd still be happy with that. If they somehow port Arkham Knight with good quality too I'll make an altar to Nintendo and probably even start a cult.

I REALLY want (I would ceremonially sacrifice my cat and hedgehog) for the following game on the Switch with proper physical releases:

1. Fallout 3 GotY edition
2. Fallout New Vegas GotY edition
3. Castlevania Lords of Shadow + DLC
4. Batman Arkham Asylum + Arkham City
5. Castlevania the DS collection

Xenoblade Chronicles X Definitive Edition, XCX is one of the most affected games from the various Wii U shutdowns over the years. Miiverse shutdown got rid of BLADE report and the upcoming eshop shutdown gets rid of the data packs which make the game run better.

I do think XC3 decreases the chances of it appearing soon though, 2024 or later would be my guess.

But in general, I'd like my Wii U and 3DS libraries (including DS/Wii and VC) preserved on the Switch (more so with both eshops shutdown next year) and some GC remasters like Path of Radiance.

My top pick was always Portal and Portal 2, but now we're getting them by some miracle.

And Batman Arkham games, but it seems we're getting those as well now.

And Metroid Prime Trilogy, but it seems we're getting the first remastered also.

So... probably Persona 4 Golden (or Persona 5, either one), Xenoblade X and the Tomb Raider Trilogy. That should have happened already. There's not that many games left that I really want ported and think would be a great fit.

Sticking to third party here because my requests from Nintendo would amount to "everything".

I'll add to the tidal wave of Batman Arkham / Tomb Raider requests. I'd love to see the older Tomb Raiders as well as they're due a rerelease on modern systems.

My main wish however is Persona. Preferably 5 Royal or a definitive (i.e. Combines the best of FES and Portable) version of 3. 4 Golden would also be nice.

Other requests would be Psychonauts 1 and 2, the 3D Rayman games, Beyond Good and Evil, Sonic Adventure 1, 2, Heroes or Generations, Final Fantasies VI and XIII.

Oh, and the first two Trails of Cold Steel games.

I have so much yet to play just sitting on my Switch at the moment, but I’d still be excited to buy Boom Blox Bash Party or Viewtiful Joe.

• I want Lost Odyssey ported to Nintendo Switch and if i am at it: Fantasian and Blue Dragon would be cool as well. I just always wanted to play Lost Odyssey and it is literally the only XBox exclusive i am interested in.
• Another thing i would love to play these days are the Project Zero games, so any more of those would be greatly appreciated and physical please
• Silent Hill is another horror series i never got to play and would love to see on Switch sometime, especially Silent Hill 2.
• Yet another game i never really played but heard decent stuff about is Ar tonelico 2 melody of metafalica, but i am positive that it will never happen
• Since i greatly enjoy Triangle Strategy, i am curious now how the Tactics Ogre games are maybe my cup of tea, and since this is already the year of SRPG's more or less with Frontier Mission coming out later this year, i think a port of Tactics Ogre:Let us cling together would greatly please me.

& can we have Knights of Lodis to go with that, please, @Solaine ....? & why not have the 3 FF Tactics for Switch while we're at it!

@BruceCM I have never played any of them and only really heard of let us cling together, neither did i ever play the FF tactics games but please give me more and more and more!

A lot of people didn't like that game, but I had a lot of fun with it in single player and online.

Well, there's only the 2 Tactics Ogre games, @Solaine .... Could have the Battle Ogre ones as well, though? I only got to play Knights of Lodis on PSP, so I'd love to play the rest!

If they get Persona 5 Royal on the Switch, I'll be one happy guy. Of course, Metroid Prime Trilogy, Wind Waker HD, Twilight Princess HD, F-Zero GX, and Xenoblade Chronicles X would be great to have too.
