@Anti-Matter now now, lets not insult good looking PS2 games, at least they had graphics that were meant to look like something, this game is just smearing of pixels all over the place

@Dom_31 They're all bangers so far, but I'm very partial to the one that plays in the bit right before Los Playos (I think that's the name), that one is so damn good (THE AMOUNT OF LEITMOTIFS AND REFERENCES TO OLDER THEMES IS RIDICULOUS BRO).

I suppose a variant is better than nothing, but I personally prefer access to the real deal. Scarlet won for me in the exclusives department, and not only because of the 'mon I've already mentioned.

I'm gonna be honest this is not a polished game, but I like it more than SWSH.

Big fan of Clogsire, probably my favorite new Pokemon.
And I think the scaling on Leafeon is broken, she destroys everything in her way with 2 attacks max.+

yeah yeah really funny first time I heard that about my name, everyone laughed Its actually the name of my favorite wrestler, thats why. And regarding your comment about Sw/Sh, yes I like it more than Gen8 as well, but I also like going to the toilet more than Gen 8, so thats not saying much

You ever just feel a massive amount of crushing disappointment? Well.....that's NOT how I feel about Spidops!

I absolutely love Tarountula: I think it's an adorable take on a terrifying animal and was immensely curious/worried to see what it's evolution would do with the concept of a spindling spider. And the result? A badass bamboo-legged spider who lays down intricate traps from their spool-shaped abdomen, complete with a signature move that's a cross between Spiky Shield and Sticky Web! It's utterly inspired and I would absolutely use it on my team.....if it weren't for the fact it's stats are on the same level as a Kricketune.

The first hour or so of these games is the worst experience I've had on Switch for any game I've had anticipation for. Once beyond the school and the black hole of a tutorial, Scarlet finally got its legs and became a much better experience. Also, compared to Sword and Shield, these are worse games in terms of presentation...I feel each 3D Pokemon game since X/Y has been getting worse, not better, in that aspect. It's really bad because the issues I'm seeing seem basic. If a Pokemon is on the ground, it should look like its feet are on the ground. If a Pokeball is thrown at an airborne Pokemon, gravity should drop the ball to the ground and then the catching animation begins. Having all but one building interior accessible in these towns really cheapens the feel of an open world that these games advertised themselves as.

Aaaand its a wrap! All badges, Star Cars and Legend-Herbs. Time to finish the story content tomorrow. The psycho-gym leader was my biggest challenge. That pretty god darn bird...

No spoilers of course, but the reveal of one of those elite four members was very suprising

Pokemon is doing something right because I'm having fun

@Kermit1Pineapple a 6 for me, the game has way more problems than bugs and performance, most soulless pokemon yet.

I recommend for everyone to just go pick up gliding and climbing as fast as you possibly can so you can skip all the bs.

The flaws from Pokemon Scarlet / Violet made the clones like Nexomon Extinction or Yokai Watch 4++ look better in my opinion.
I guess AAA titles don't always have great quality.

Yeah Elite Four in this game can go f.... this game is truly awful in every possible way.

I have no legal way to say how I feel about this and what I would like to do to the person who designed this, so I am not going to say it at all. I hate this game

I find it amusing that people are review bombing this game on Metacritic and being super critical about this game all over the interwebs..... while also having gone out and brought the game despite knowing these issues beforehand. The game is probably going to end up moving ~20mill units but, you know, lets give it 1 star and complain in the Youtube comments. That'll show' em!

@skywake The game boots up. It's a working product, not Cyberpunk 2099.

Sadly I think Austin John Plays might be one of the only people making guides this time. Since everyone is throwing pitchforks at a game they don't have or got for free.
