That's a nuisance, while I've successfully avoided all the leaks for this game so far the frequency at which they're happening according to this thread suggests starting the game at launch should now be a priority. I was planning that while I'd buy a load of games at launch that there'd be a specific order for completion before moving on to the next (so like for example playing Persona 5 Royal after Bayonetta 3 given they're a week apart and P5R is seemingly a long game).

@Grumblevolcano It's getting to the point now where any day now, gameplay or photos could get leaked.

I'm playing the game the second it launches.

I tried to draw the Pokemon Violet trainer in Chibi looking but I still didn't like with the result as the thing that bothering me was the big hat design that the trainer wore.
It looks like a big hat that Boy George from Culture Club wore for Karma Chameleon.
I wonder if I can use alternate looking for Pokemon trainer looking (boy version) from the trailer.

@Grumblevolcano Depending on where exactly you live, my advice would be to look at your local game shops and see if any of them have a pre-order deal where you get about 5-10% off by buying the game before it comes out. That's a deal at my local Smyths that I've used plenty of time when it comes to Pokemon games and, when you usually get a cool little figurine alongside it, it's always a no-brainer for me.

@Kermit1 Whilst I'm here, I just want to say thanks for letting us know when leaks are getting real bad. I've somehow managed to avoid almost every single one online since the start of August and it's all thanks to you letting us know when to dip out. See you in November!

Btw, I still prefer this alternative looking of Pokemon trainer boy from the trailer.

@Kermit1 I mean, Centro is somewhat right about Leaker culture being a thing that's always been around. But the difference between now and then is that back then, it was through an official news source, so it was effectively no different from an official reveal. Now, it's legit the entire game being leaked by faceless employees for clout, with people spamming the leaks absolutely everywhere in discussions. People clamoring for information, and being impatient instead of waiting a few months. It's insane to me how even though this is a yearly franchise, so many people are impatient for the next release.

@VoidofLight Ya it has gotten really bad. I look at leaks to warn others of what is and isn't a leak.

Leaks are not fun, I'd rather a slow drip feed than having someone(s) spoil it.

A pity that it has a school-setting, Japanese seem to love that (not a fan of that).

Anyway, last trailer looked a lot better then the first. There's definitely improvement, especially in the way the Pokemon look and how they are animated.

I'm no longer going to get Pokemon Violet. I've done a lot of thinking and overall (thanks in small part to leaks) I don't think I'm going to enjoy the game that much.

I'm going to get Sonic Frontiers instead, I've been reading about this game off and on. It sounds amazing from everything I've seen and heard, and I think it will last me a lot longer than S&V.

Plus GoldenEye is coming to NSO and that will eat up my time.

You can still enjoy Pokemon Scarlet / Violet regardless of the leak from internet.
Just consider the leak as mini entertainment and compare between the rumour and the actual release for comparison.
I personally want to see the final evolution of the starters just for curiosity.

@Kermit1 I think you're getting getting confused by fake leaks, which are everywhere, and it's difficult to tell what is real and what isn't if you aren't following it closely. I've seen all confirmed leaks and I follow them daily, and there's so much that hasn't been leaked. It really isn't that bad. We don't have high quality image leaks yet, we barely have blurry image leaks. It's mostly text leaks, info dumps, but even that isn't complete at all.

Especially the last couple of weeks have been quite dry in terms of leaks.

If it doesn't come from one of two sources, then it's pretty much fake I'm pretty sure.
