Topic: Pokemon Legends Arceus

The massive mass outbreak is a little weird. The map said there was a special outbreak of Bronsor in Crimson Mirelands during the mission. I looked everywhere where it said the outbreak was but couldn’t find the outbreak. The rain then stopped and so I have to sit and wait until a massive mass outbreak starts again to finish the quest. I am not sure if its a bug that caused the outbreak not to spawn properly but something is definitely off about it.

Dunno whether I'm late to this but have y'all spoken to the professor?! No remorse over your starter choice now.

@Pizzamorg Fun fact: I caught both of the other starters in distortions before realising I could've talked to Laventon the ENTIRE TIME. Certaintly not my brightest moment that's for sure.

I just realized when you send Arceus into battle while surfing Arceus doesnt use the floaties. It walks on water!

Well that explains why most of these new Pokémon were absent from the wild, they saved them for this update.

After MMO in the Coastlands, Mai said she would be at the Cornet Highlands camp, but she’s not here. Did I miss something?

The best part for me of 1.1.0 update that they added 28 new Requests/Side Missions/Quests.

@DomGC I checked, she’s not there either.

@Laxus There's a request beforehand where she's by the Galaxy Team Building where you then go to the Alabaster Icelands. Have you done that?

Honestly just enjoying having an excuse to go back onto Arceus again, as I wasn't enjoying the significant difficulty spike in the existing end game, but so far investigating these outbreaks has been pretty fun.

Continuing on with the massive mass outbreak quest, I headed to the Alabaster Icelands and what do you know, I found a shiny Swinub in one of them (something I was hunting for a few days ago no less). Absolutely ecstatic about getting one of my favourite mons as a shiny, I ride back to the camp, only to hear ANOTHER sparkle next to me. A shiny Machop! I managed to get 2 shinies in the same visit to the Icelands. I HAVE 13 SHINIES IN THIS GAME. THAT IS MORE THAN EVERY OTHER POKEMON GAME I'VE EVER PLAYED COMBINED.

Actually three shinys is the most I ever got without trading, its great!

Still yet to find a single shiny that wasn't the sub-quest Ponyta and I'm at 35 hours! I have a friend who's in the first area and managed to obtain ~4 shinies though I think.

@Buizel Don't worry about it, I have over 85 hours in so I've had plenty more time to get shinies. All you need is perseverance (god I sound like a fitness instructor).

@Fizza Haha too be honest I'm whining for nothing as I'm certainly not a shiny hunter! It's just nice to find one once in a while when you're not expecting them, and it's been years for me personally

@Buizel I don't know how but I've been getting insanely lucky in Legends with my shinies. I got a shiny a day for three days at one point (a random Barboach, a random Staraptor and an outbreak Tentacool), it was that bonkers. I'm getting so many that I actively want to try (emphasis on try) and do a pseudo shiny living dex (a shiny for each stage of the evo line).

There's this website I've been using called Pokétch Shiny Hunt that catalogues all of the ones you have and, between all the Switch era games (except LGPE), I have over 40 already.

Is this idiotic and probably going to cause me a lot of pain? Yes. But is it satisfying as all hell to do? Also yes.

Anyway, I'll see you after I probably go for 5000 encounters for Shaymin in BDSP.
