I actually find the art style quite charming, some of the Pokémon look so stupid that it's kinda cute. Also just seeing them run around your camp in little towers is amazing!
@Yosheel Do you think we'll get other generations of Pokémon? I was expecting this year to just be "Year of the Kanto Pokémon" for Gamefreak.
If it does well enough they'll probably want to keep user interest by offering new things over time. What better way to do so than by adding more monsters and locales.
This game just makes me really look forward to Lets Go Pikachu. It is pretty much the poster definition of a time waster free-2-play mobile game. You barely do anything in the way of playing the game, it pretty much literally plays for you. If I could control my pokemon directly or at least just one of them it would have been a far more engaging game, but as it is I am just watching it as opposed to playing it.
I am sure it would be fine on my iphone like this as something to just waste time with when I am sitting around waiting for something, but I can't get into it as a console game, it is just way too simple. The controls are also awful on a controller, all you really do is select an ability once in a while and do the occasional management of your team when you aren't questing, and that is about it. After messing around with it for a while I have a hard time seeing myself coming back to it.
I'm in world 7/8 with a team strength of 6596.
My Ivysaur turned into a Venusaur at Level 32.
My other mains are Onix and Porygon, also at Level 32.
Onix is a good tank that can shield the whole party.
Porygon is very quick and has a great shot that hits every enemy standing in the way multiple times.
Well, for an idle game it is pretty neat, though I accidentally wasted a load of tickets on crap items when I was saving them for camp items.
What are the best camp items to save tickets for early on?
@Yosheel I hope so, There's plenty of Pokémon to keep adding!
And I know every year is Kanto year but sometimes they like to pretend that the new generations are the main focus
I'm not sure how long I'll keep playing this, I probably won't download it when it comes to iPhone/Android though. I'm already balancing three mobile games at the moment
I exchanged my Venusaur to a higher leveled new Koffing that evolved into Weezing, then added 3 unused medals to his fire strike. 2x +1 projectile and +1 reach. Now he's my strongest, along with Porygon and tank/shielder Onix. I've completed world 7, up to boss of world 8, and midway through world 9 and 10.
I got my first shiny yesterday (Shellder). Finishing up areas 9 and 10.
Also, random bad joke that popped into my mind yesterday: It's not often that you get a worse game by removing a con from another game. Pokémon Conquest > Pokémon Quest.
Does anyone know if it is possible to teach a Pokemon with one move, a second move? Or to control which of 2 moves gets changed when you try to change moves?
Also how to Pokemon that in the real game evolve by trade or with an evolution stone work in this game? I have a growlithe but am not sure how it is gonna evolve.

Is no possible control, dude. The move learned dont even have relation with the moves of the pokemon wich is being used like ingredient to teach the new one. The new move is something completly random. Being the same pokemon species only affect the chances of learn a new move.
The pokemons evolved by trade or stones in other games now evolve just leveling up. I already tested. MyPolywhirl evolved in Polywrath between 30 and 35. Dont remeber exactly the level. My Nidoran into Nidorino evolved this way too, but dont remeber the level too, but I think was something between 25-35 too.
Of course, pokemons you get with level superior of the level wich evolve will not evolve anymore.
@Heavyarms55 No. That is not the case. I've evolved my Lv. 70 Diglett and bunch of other Pokémon that were overleveled. But the information about trade/stone evolutions is correct. I've seen a tip pop up in the game saying so and my Kadabra evolved at Lv. 36.
@Heavyarms55
You can choose which move is replaced while teaching new moves but not which one will be learned. While teaching a new move just select the one you want the pkmn to forget.

@Judi I thought so. I wonder why that is... And frankly I kind of with some other games could mimic that, since in portable mode some games can be really quiet.

If i get a lvl 50 abra, will it never be able to evolve? (like it should at level 16 and level 36)
So if i want to get an Alakazam, do i have to get a low level abra and bring it all the way up?
