Well, shiny Pokemon are in the game. One of my meals just attracted a shiny Geodude to my base. Considering it was the 4th Pokemon that's come to my base I wonder if they're common in this game.
I've really liked Pokémon Company's previous free-to-play offerings so of course I downloaded it asap. I completed Pokémon Picross and have played Shuffle almost daily since it came out but dropped Pokémon Rumble World after a month or two. This is quite similar to Rumble so I'm expecting similar results. I finished the first area. I've caught a Squirtle, Pidgey, Rattata, Oddish and Psyduck.
It's its, not it's.

This seems like a perfect sort-term distraction to have for textbook reading breaks.
Also I got a Hitmonchan. Has trash HP but dear lord that attack, and also has drain punch dual HP/ATK slots so the HP problem is less of a problem. I have no grass pokemon though, so the third area is being a pain (several fire pokeymans though).

I got a Tauros with Earthquake and Hyper Beam. It helped me get through most of the stages in area 2 and 3. My main problem currently is that most of my Pokémon are Normal and Flying types.
As a free to play game, it is fine. I don't know how long it will hold my interest, but it is neat for the time being. Has there been any word if I can play the same file on mobile and Switch? That would keep me playing longer most likely.

It's certainly holding my interest more than Animal Crossing Pocket Camp did...not too 'cash-grabby', not too simplified - just a nice, relaxing little game to dip in to from time to time ..and has cuteness by the bucket-load!
It certainly does enough to put a smile on my face when playing it - can't ask for much more than that
I think the incidence of shinies is fairly high in this game, as I have found two already. Also I'm starting to peter out on this game because I feel I've gotten to the point where it's a grind.

I'm actually enjoying this! I only really play it enough for 6 tries per session (The 5 standard plays and then an extra one refills just after), but it's a fun way to pass the time, especially for a free game. I also like how it makes any Pokémon a viable option with enough work and badges/training.
I'm wondering how long this game is going to last, I'm going through the areas quickly and this island isn't very big, maybe there's some hidden areas or something? We could always just get another island with an update I guess...
