Im definitely curious about things like trainer customization since it does feel like things such as outfits would be more varied than S/V, also hoping things like hairstyle and colour can be changed early if not when starting.
@Mgalens, it seems like this game has way more character customization than before, with tons of clothing designs (none of which are gender locked) and lots of facial and hair customization too. Seemingly the most character customizable Pokémon game to date.

i do hope time stranger makes its way to switch-2 down the line, i think the whole switch dev kit issue could be holding back some games since even with devs who got one it feels like not every team within said studio gets one which could also explain why Xillia remaster isnt getting a native switch-2 version (i do hope it does or at least a patch to enable 60fps and higher res on switch 2 since like with the tales of graces remaster its frustrating that the switch versions combat runs at a lower framerate than the original game)
as for A-Z looking forward to jump into it, i remember finding the technical issues made S/V frustrating to play for me but will be picking up this one on switch 2 (also will likely get round to s/v again thanks to the switch 2 patch)
I really hope Volcanion is in Legends Z-A (even if it's just DLC).
And I also want all the Vivillon patterns (including the Pokéball) and all the Furfrou cuts (I want confirmation that they can be transferred to Home).
That's what I need to complete my Gen 6 Living Dex.
@Mgalens yeah same for me as well, alrhough by now I probably will wait for whenever all of its dlc released I suppose if it came around to Switch 2.
And ye, I'm super excited for ZA tomorrow they should start charging for the preorders (for those who preordered through eshop anyways) and I just can't waittt
@Mgalens PS: from one of reviews is confirmed all clothing will be unisex and from other analyzes it's same for looks/hair customization as well. Etc Scarlet & Violet was Unisex for everything as well, so!

The clothing options were unironically the worst part of S/V. Those school uniforms were pretty ugly.

I've noticed complaints about the school outfits a lot. Am I the only one who actually liked them? 🤣

Looking at spoilers, as is pokemon tradition, and the more I see of ZA the more "validated" I feel about my decision to not get this one. Ugly new designs aside, it seems really small just off the roster of pokemon alone and every preview already made Luminose look cramped and empty as hell.
Pokémon Legends Z-A comes out on the 16th the day after I turn 48 so I plan on getting it somehow. I always liked the Pokemon games. I am still uncertain if the Switch 2 is going to be in my future.

The only thing that really interested me about this game was the real time battling, but since Champions is creating a distinct medium for typical turn based competitive, I imagine Gen 10 will also have this system.
Between that, the tiny and monotonous map, and the DLC being announced before the game came out, I've really lost interest in this title so I won't be picking it up.
With that said, I hope Game Freak continues to make Legends games in the future.
Also I'm mad about the apparent lack of a Mega evolution for Meowstic
Hope anyone who decides to play it has fun with it.

I hadnt seen much about time stranger so unsure if its closer to one of the "raising" games like the original digimon world or the "RPG" games like cyber sleuth (from what ive seen looks more like the latter) though on the subject of the series i remember watching the anime dub when it was on tv and remember wishing there was a game which followed that plot, turns out that did happen i think, on PSP, in japan only EDIT:it was "digimon adventure" iirc.
on the subject of Z-A really my only concern is regarding the games environments, not so much that its set entirely in a city (plenty of games, both older and newer made cities interesting) but more the preview mentioning that the areas felt more like you were in "corridors" than in a big lively city, though im hoping that there's at least some fun activities and whatnot to help keep the world more interesting, the actual gameplay looks fun and im curious to try out the more MMO/Xenoblade-like combat and am sure i will enjoy it, its just that a fun "world" can really make a game feel more enjoyable for me, even in some of the older pokemon games i enjoyed seeing new regions and learning more about each one.
@Mgalens Time Stranger is more of the RPG ones, which I'm a bit disappointed about because I like the raising one more. (Redigitize decode on 3ds will be perfect to be remastered bamco, please)
And yeah, hopefully the environment will be fun too, gods it's releasing in 3 days 5 hours more... Still some time but it's inching closer to release!
@UpsideDownRowlet Gen 10 is going to still be turn-based. I wouldn't hold my breath on them moving to this combat system unless people actually enjoy it- and even then, it'll be Gen 11 or 12 when it's actually implemented into the big main games.

@Dom_31 The dex is about the same size as Pokemon Legends Arceus numbers-wise.. which was smaller than a mainline game due to it's setting. I don't think there's anything wrong with a more limited dex, so long as the dex is actually good.

@VoidofLight I really don't see why they would make Pokemon Champions unless they were planning to change the battle system for Gen 10, as the existence of Champions basically frees the mainline games to do whatever with the battle system.
Besides, if Gen 10 does end up turn-based, it's not like Legends Z-A is going to magically disappear from the face of the Earth after Pokemon Day. I'll totally just be able to play it whenever there's a good enough discount on it.
"well it appears I am upside down. what ever will I do?"
@UpsideDownRowlet We already know from the Teraleak that Gen 10 returns to a turn-based combat system. We don't know if they'll bring back the action combat in Gen 11 or in the next Legends after this though- but Gen 10 is more traditional.
