Topic: Pinball FX 3

@OorWullie, @Daftbomb, thanks! I'll be sure to add you next time I get on the system (it's currently charging after a lengthy session finishing up the story in DBX2).

I went ahead and double dipped on the two classic packs and Aliens.... too cool in handheld mode to pass up

Pretty happy about the way I got this one. Originally got it as Pinball FX 2 for the PS3 with it's cross-platform Vita support. It also transferred over to PS4. Thing is I only got everything besides the Zen tables, so what I did on the Switch is buy all the Zen tables. It's like the best of both worlds since the Switch is missing a lot of support for the stuff that I got on Vita.

Anyone else not seeing their friends scores pop up on in leaderboards ? I see some random people but not the people i know are playing these tables period. Also my privacy settings are set to "No Limitation" for Cross-Network Play. My account is Linked too ~

@Gameday Some of my friends are showing up but I know there is others that aren't. @Spoony_Tech isn't showing on my leaderboard for any of the 3 free tables we got and he's playing it for sure,he's addicted to it like me. It's a strange one as he did appear the other day and replaced me at the top of the leaderboard by quite some margin and then disappeared again.

Also, Xbox One players can't see Switch players but we can see them. I don't know about those playing it on Steam though and if there is any way to tell them apart from Xbone players. I can join my mate's tournaments and take part along with other Switch players but he can't see any of us in it.It tells him the true number of entrants though, he just can't see them on the leaderboards. If I make a tournament though he's unable to find it. He tweeted Zen about it and they said they're aware of the issue and are working on it. Hopefully this and the missing Switch friends issue will be resolved soon.

Yeah, I keep friending people playing this and only see some of them. My older friends from the first week seem to be the majority I don't see and overseas as well. What's also weird is seeing some but those same friends not seeing you. I see @OorWullie on all those tables I believe.

This game works brilliantly in TATE mode with touch screen controls. Missed out on the free tables, though.

I'm surprised people have complained about the performance in handheld mode. I've played this way exclusively thus far, and haven't had any issues. Does it only slow down on certain tables?

@Ralizah That's what I'm guessing, I only have the free tables as well as Portal, no issues at all in general.

@Ralizah, I haven't had any issues on Adventure Land or Back to the Future, but there's some slowdown on Jaws & especially on Son of Zeus. However, these issues only seemed to pop up for me when using the zoomed in views that follow the ball. In the more zoomed out views the issues are less common or not there at all.

@Joeynator3000 Try SoZ zoomed in like @RR529 said. He nailed it on the head with what he said. I like a little Zoomed in and SoZ is unplayable that way but other tables work well for the most part. Even SoZ has problems though no matter what view you use but is less noticeable Zoomed out.

I never liked that table, so...whateverz. xD

Anyone bought the Core Collection yet? Any good?

@OorWullie Had it on the Wii U and there's enjoyment there. There's only a handful of tables I've played from Zen that I didn't care for so to me the risk is minimal.

Ok, bought Balls of Glory...gonna take a look at some of them later. (got an appointment to go to, lol)

@Joeynator3000 I look forward to you thrashing my scores! It’s been a bit lonely on those tables.

@JoeDiddley It's kinda empty on my side as well, I dunno if you have other friends with this game but apparently there's a bug that doesn't show all the scores. I got a few friends that play this, but only like...2 of them show up for me.

@Joeynator3000 I’ve got a couple of friends who have bought the Universal pack and I can see their scores.

For people from Nintendo Life, I guess I don’t know if they are playing certain tables or not for sure, but yeah it’s suspiciously quiet. On the free tables I can see your scores, @OorWullie and a few others

@JoeDiddley I visit Zen's forums sometimes and apparently others are having the bug, it seems to be random, so I dunno...

@Joeynator3000 hopefully they are working on a fix, I trust In Zen!

So far I'm loving the game. What is everyone's favorite view? I think I like 5 and 6 the best... Not sure which of those is my number 1 though. Still fooling with it
