Yay I got it to work Scifi Table.
This is how i got it working, Archive game, then click and redownload all Pinball Fx3 game again
and all Pinball Tables i purchased was downloaded and installed including scifi pack which is amazing
highly recomend it now that it work.
could be a download bug of some sort but now it work so happy

@Gilgamesh glad you got it working. I had a similar issue when I bought the Doom table on my phone. The download only appeared when I bought another table (the Skyrim one). That wouldn’t have been a strategy I recommend. A bit like buying the item behind something that fails to drop in a vending machine.

@JoeDiddley They message my friend back today and said it was a known issue and are working on resolving it.

As for searching on leaderboards it's not ideal as it only scrolls so far. If you're scores not close to an Xbox mate then you can't find them. Something that would be great is if it let you follow certain players on other consoles so you can keep track of them. Right now we're having to take photos of our score and sending them on What's app, not ideal. Tournaments though are great.

@OorWullie I’ve not tried tournaments, I’ll have to check them out. Although even though I love pinball I’m not that good at it. I don’t have the reactions needed, I blame sleep deprevation.

Whatsapp is an ingenious workaround, I guess we have to be grateful for any cross platform play at all.

Are you planning on picking up any of the fable packs for Switch?

Double dipping. ... I have been on the fence. Leaning towards just roughing it out and playing my old tables on my old systems. ...

@JoeDiddley I will be picking up tables this weekend. Not 100% sure what I'll go for. Possibly Universal and Aliens packs. The themes of those tables is what's swinging me. My pal loves the Back to the Future table. I was on fire last night, got to 25th in world on survival for Son of Zeus. That tables great for the challenge modes, but not so much normal modes. Your ball rolls out too easy. On survival and 5 minutes, it gives you the ball back.

@rockodoodle I'd recommend double dipping on at least your favourite tables. The addition of challenges, tournaments etc adds so much to the experience. I've put a crazy amount of hours into just Sorcerers Lair in the past, first on mobile, then Wii U. I thought I'd have had enough of that but nope, having these new modes makes me want to master it all over again.

I've had fun playing the three free tables. I think my favorite is Sorcerers Lair. I like the look of it and it's fun to play. Son of Zeus comes as a close second. I like the theme and voice clips. I just lose the ball really easily. I don't like Adventure Land that much. I'm not really into theme parks and it's also quite hard to see the ball when it's on fire while playing vertically.

Are free tables something Zen Studios does more often or is it just a one time thing? What about discounts? I'm certainly not opposed to buying tables later once I get bored of the free ones but I'll ask just in case I can get more by just waiting. I'll most likely buy Bethesda tables if/when they become available.

@Late They gave us those 2 free tables because it's their 10 year anniversary. Normally it's just Sorcerers Lair they give free. Any purchases made on Switch will carry over to the next gen of consoles though. That's what they've done for Xbox 360 and PS3 owners. Wii U owners unfortunately have to buy them again but that's more the fault of Nintendo and their clunky online system. Buying Zen tables on there was a bit of mess. If you enjoy what you've played then tables are definitely a worthwhile investment. They are cheap and offer many hours of play time. Epic Quest is a really good one, I'm not a fan of Excalibur that comes with it though. But for the price, it's worth it for EQ alone.

As for Bethesda tables, they already are available. Doom, Fallout and Skyrim.

@OorWullie Thank you. I'll probably end up buying the 20€ bundle with bunch of tables to save a little bit of money compared to buying them separately. Not now but sometime in the future. That seems to include Epic Quest as well. Portal table is something I could also get when I'm left with some spare money on my account after buying other games. Bethesda tables are available on other devices but not on Switch.

Will probably download this later tonight. Will get the free tables, the Universal pack, and the Portal table first.

Too bad they lost the South Park rights. I have the "Super Sweet Pinball" table on my tablet, and it's probably my favorite one.

@OorWullie great, I bought Universal and Aliens myself. It’s a bit lonely on those tables as no one on my friends list (mostly Nintendolife guys and gals) seems to have bought tables yet. Perhaps the recent performance furore hasn’t helped, which I hadn’t noticed!

The Bethesda tables aren’t out on Switch yet are they? I would throw money at those.

@JoeDiddley You should see me appear on those tables sometime soon. I've no idea what made me think the Bethesda tables were already on there @Late I was sure they were. Must have dreamt about it haha.

@OorWullie I probably will for at least a few, maybe the ones I have on Xbone. It is pretty engaging to play these handheld. But w the ones I have, plus Stern, maybe I should hold off.

Bought the Universal pack, though have only played Back to the Future, and only in docked mode so far.

Pretty fun, though the lack of official soundtrack is kind of a buzzkill. I can handle the soundalikes for doc & Marty (that's kind of par for the course when it comes to games), but I'm just not feeling the soundalike music.

Still, I managed to get over 60 million my first round, and enjoyed it enough that I'll probably visit it often.

Also digging Adventure Land more than most, it seems.

@RR529 I like Adventure Land too. It can be a little hard to see the ball when it's on fire but other than that it's a great table. Welcome to add me as a friend so we can challenge each other's scores.

I have been setting some great scores in the challenge modes. I was 19th in world for one ball challenge on Son of Zeus, 25th for Survival. Was well chuffed with myself.

Loving this game. Now have all the Zen tables, I quite like just holding down X midgame to zoom in and scour them for the details. I like how most have credits to the designers and artists on the outlanes.

Switch players can see Xbox/Steam players but so far Xbox players can't see us. Zen are working on a fix. For now I just take a photo and send to my friend.
