I played the game marathon style. And I finished it today. So, to help who have doubts if get it or not, I am creating this topic
First similiraty, the player can use Equipment:

The player can equip till 8 weapons (4shoes and 4 hammers) to select in battle. All they broke, exception the standard that can't be removed too (so, is 6 at player's choice).

Can equip 5 different Aacessories at same time too.

Items to recover life, ressurect(rare) or attack can be used in battles.

Are not EXP but Character PROGRESSION exist.

How? Each permanent Heart +10 that Mario find, he too can instantly hammer one more type of enemie whitout enter in battle, and add 1 of or damage or critical or defense, but not exist a screen where is possible check it. The player will find it playing.
Like the Char progress through exploration, the player will fight is only the necessary. Are no need stay stopped in some points of the game grinding levels like many rpgs.
The new battle system is not bad.But at start of game, things look slow. After some time, it became normal. And are some things fun about it.

This title, in my opinion can be easily the THIRD best Paper Mario (PM), but have:
Best Soundtrack in PM games, The PM with more things to find(more motives to explore finding toads, collectibles and fixing the world), best use of Paper technics. Are other things Origami King is the best too, but I can't say it to avoid spoilers.

To people whose opinion think Paper Mario: Thousand Year Door like best PM, I strongly recommed Origami King. Those players very probaly will like.
I can add, I bought Origami King no 100% sure if I was like, but the title is better than I expected.
Are chance some players put Origami King like second in their PM lists, putting the N64 version like third.

@FlashBoomerang you say it is better than the gamecube paper Mario . That's good.

@Ninfan Not exactly, but close.
The gamecube version is the best one in general because is very traditional.
Looks like the developers was aware they don't was get something at same level of that game, if they stayed too attached to some elements. So, they inovated a lot. The result is very good. A game fun and that the player feel the developers need be praised by it.
Origami King have some things that can be considerated little flaws, but the positive points are really HUGE.
