@mowerdude If you can't play it in handheld mode then it would say that on the page, but you still might need joy-cons.

This game just needs time, if there willing to update golf, i'm sure they are willing to update other sports into the game.

i guess i need to just be grateful for this amazing opportunity, which i will enjoy no matter what but i still do hope it has more elements of wii sports

Nice that this is $40. No way would I pick it up for $60.

I'd pay $60 just for the Golf and Bowling alone.

Those games are timeless classics. I'd do anything to have them on Switch in HD with properly designed avatars rather than those butt-ugly Miis (sorry Mii fans, no offense).

I used to connect my Wii to a projector and we'd all play Wii Sports on the wall of my friends house with a massive 80" display. Ahhh the memories...

Golf on Wii U though was the single greatest golfing experience I've ever had in a video game. Nothing will ever top that. But I'll take what I can get

I wonder in the golf trailer it had kayaks so a racing made with that also could baseball or a yoga studio come to it also I wonder they would do the age score on the training courses like the original

I think Nintendo should take some risk by adding the not so popular sports so it will cater more audiences who have interest with unpopular sports. Just let them have a chance to play unpopular sports and being acknowledged by public, nothing wrong to show peoples enjoy Boxing / Kickboxing / Kayaking / Judo / Throwing dart / Bobsled / Jet ski / Rugby / Archery / Figure ice skating / etc.

I wonder if they would add the bike race with the leg strap also table tennis also if golf had all the courses from resort and the original wii sports

Digital because I want all the best games digitally, available 24/7 anywhere I go.

Physically cause I haven't yet fully stamped out the collector mentality in me. Target had it for $49.99 with 5% off using Redcard. Comes in a nice collectible box (that hopefully won't get damaged by shipping in a bubble mailer).

Do we think this game will be joycon motion control only? I'm wondering about pro controller support.
(forgive me if this has been addressed elsewhere)

Went ahead and registered for the online play test last night. I have it downloaded and ready to go, too. Pretty excited to give it a shot!

Like an idiot, I was about to post a clip of what the game opening looks like when it opens, but then I remembered 'Tendo doesn't want us to. (not that anyone is really missing anything crazy)

Also, I can confirm the test game only supports split-joycons.

@JaxonH my Mii heart is broken. wow. on the contrary, i would prefer Miis to these weirdo avatar character things. It doesn't give the Nintendo feeling to me
