Wii Sports successor, honestly its about time!

SUPER excited for this. I think volleyball and badminton are both great additions. I was very disappointed it was missing Golf, but then they were like "and golf too!" The only thing it's missing now is Island Flyover from Resort.

@Gryffin and boxing. It was a great workout, if anything else. But knowing that golf is coming later, there's hope for boxing, too, I guess!

Also, did you guys hear that music. Nostalgia vibes overload. I wonder if they brought the same composer on board, and if we get some new amazing Wii-like tunes here. Oof, I'm so excited.

The game looks pretty decent, wouldn't mind giving it a shot on that online play test. Tennis and bowling were a couple of my favorites from Wii Sports. I surely didn't expect to see those new "Miis," so to speak, lol.

Why is always soccer all the time?
I do not like and will never like soccer.

@Anti-Matter Firstly, relax. It's just a video game, and you can completely ignore soccer if you want to. Secondly, they'll probably have boxing on a future update later down the road. We just don't know yet.

Better late than never. I thought Nintendo Switch Sports at the latest should've been a 2018 release. Continuing the Sports series onto the Switch just made too much sense to me, so I'm glad and excited that it has finally arrived. ARMS, Ring Fit Adventure and now Nintendo Switch Sports, that's motion control paradise!

Would have been waay better then one two switch LOL, anyone remember that game?

Really hoping the soccer is fun to play and not just a weird tacked on offering. It's great news that the motion controlled kicking will be added to the full game, but a pretty it's not a complete release on Day 1.

this game really caught me off guard today I was not expecting a new Wii sports game. Looks pretty neat through

I straight up called 3 people today and said "you are getting a switch now, they got wii sports!"

One of the most exciting announcements for me lol. Gonna be a day one. Can't wait until the Holidays when I can go see my folks and play this with them.

No joke, I literally setup dolphin and on my HTPC a couple of weeks ago and was playing some of my old (owned) Wii games. Gave Klonoa, Wii Sports, Mario Kart, Mario Strikers, Skyward Sword and Okami a spin. Was going to spin it up again this weekend to play some bowling with some family

I swear Nintendo stalks my thoughts sometimes....

Lucky us, we have a test coming out, can't wait to give it a shot.

I was surprised by this one too and can hardly wait for it. My girlfriend is not a gamer but will most likely play this. The Switch just keeps getting better and better.

I for one am happy to see this. I enjoyed playing the Wii U version online ... at least when there were people to play. If the golf version controls as well as its predecessors did, it will be a nice replacement for Mario Golf, which I found frustrating when playing with motion controls.

I don’t normally care about game names but I do think this was a missed opportunity to just call it Nintendo Sports (switch version) so they don’t have to rebrand each gen.

That being said I have been waiting on a good bowling game this gen so I am all in.
