Gave Nintendo a chance to not cock this system up. At least Wii U arrived on time.

@Grumblevolcano Yup, ordered Wednesday evening, arrived this morning via DPD.

Hang on in there lovely people! My Amazon UK order just arrived with my Switch! Give them a bit more time Royal Mail, DPD, Amazon etc...I know it's annoying but just hang in there. really hope you get them asap!

Got labelled a fanboy for putting up with them. Now im just done. Screw em. As soon as it arrives its going back.

Walked into a target in the Seattle area and there were 25 consoles with 7 people in line. Wasn't planning on getting a switch but once I saw the line I thought why not. Hopefully everyone has success out there that is still looking and the deliveries aren't too held up

I'm in the deepest depths of despair right now but I know when/ if it arrives I'll be one of the happiest men alive then as soon as Zelda boots up all will be forgiven........until next time

I have gone through unbelievable amounts of crap for owning a Wii U since launch. Be it from people around me or Nintendo and I had some degree of faith that this launch would be a good one, and the system would do well.

Its near the end of launch day and its MIA with no known whereabouts. This is worse than Wii U because while that had a rocky start at least it was on time.

Still waiting on Zelda to ship but I've seen Amazon ship it day of and I get it that evening so not worried yet. As long as the system is on the way (which it is) I'm good. This is going to be the longest day EVER.

My Royal Mail tracked package is still "Status: Sorry - we don't recognise that reference number."

Could mean anything :rage1:

So I bought Zelda for the Wii U, now Amazon UK have no date for it, I also bought for Switch, wich I have, but no system, so I can't believe I can't simple play the Nibelsnarfing game because Nintendo is so incompetent.

Worst part this is the start, MOO YOU NINTENDO, hope this is your damn last system.

I have seen this company going from the pinacle to this stage where they dont seem to care about the client!!!

What is most frustrating is I have no idea where it even is. If the tracking number worked it would be less irritating. I might just order one for store collection tomorrow from Tesco as I'm back at work this weekend and can't hang about for drivers all day. I'll just send the UK store one back, assuming it's actually out there somewhere.

What time does Royal Mail stop delivering then?

For addresses in urban areas we endeavour to make one delivery every working day by 3pm. For addresses in rural areas Royal Mail endeavours to make one delivery every working day by 4pm (subject to exceptions for remote areas with limited transport infrastructure such as the Highlands and Islands).

Well my afternoon took a sudden turn for the better.

About 13:30hrs my copy of Breath of the Wild turned up, delivered by Yodel.

About 15 minutes later my Switch turned up, delivered by Royal Mail.

So thank you to the respective carriers above for their good work, and thank you to Very.co.uk for giving me £30 off and 12 months to pay. I seem to remember someone in this thread doubted you a few pages back, but you have done good.

And thank you to Nintendo for shipping my Switch with some charge in the battery so that I could turn it on straight away.

Oh, and if you're still waiting... it's worth the wait. Both the Switch and Zelda are magnificent. If I wasn't meant to be keeping this little beauty a secret I'd be going to bed with my neon red joy con - I'm in love.

@Bunkerneath A reference number that's not recognized means Royal Mail haven't scanned the package at the first facility yet when means either they're still waiting to receive it from Nintendo or it's just arrived at the first facility and will be scanned soon.

Whatever. Im done with this damn company.

@Grumblevolcano I know, but it's getting delivered to work, and I finish in an hour so will not see it until next week probably, just pants really. Especially after getting the message of next day delivery by email yesterday and then 3 hours later probably around 7-8 March

It looks like the best way to get it delivered was to not order from Nintendo. That's pretty pathetic
