Now that Nintendo leaked Kirby Fighters 2 on accident, I'm left wondering how they were planning to reveal it. Is there are a chance we're getting another (Mini) Direct this week or the next? Or were they planning to reveal it on Twitter or YouTube? I guess the later two options are more realistic, but then again we're still waiting for a Smash reveal and more info on Crown of Tundra, so I guess a Direct is still possible.

@Slowdive Eh... Nintendo has never revealed a game via a tweet, even an eShop only one. I'd expect at least a random youtube video.

@link3710 The random out of nowhere announcements are usually both at the same time, Youtube video + tweet.

I'd be a lot more likely to notice the Tweets 1st, unless I happened to goto YouTube for something else at the right time .... I imagine when he predicts the Tweet, he means with a trailer, so your YT video included, @link3710

@PikaPhantom What's a Direct archive?

Yeah what's a direct archive and why is important for us?

Kirby. Nothing else. Maybe a smash reveal. That's what I'm expecting so I don't get disappointed.

@jump @JokerCK It's the page on Nintendo's website where every Direct that's aired, essentially, is...well, archived. The update implies a new Direct is ready to go.

We're going to get a Pachinko Direct in which Nintendo announces a collaboration with Konami to create a pachinko games exclusively for Switch that's inspired by everyone's favourite 3D Mario level, the pachinko machine level from Sunshine.

@jump @JokerCK the direct archive is a...well...archive, that Nintendo keeps all of the past directs. They have a habit of updating the archive right before a new direct is showcased. They upload it before it's official then all they have to do is make it public afterwards. We can't see what it is but we can see that it's updated.

@Slowdive Yeah, I thought so. They made it seem like they would exclusively reveal something though....

Heigh Ho Heigh Ho. It’s off to work (from home) I go.

I see a Monster Hunter Direct from last week, but not anything else.

Gah, I can’t handle this pressure!!! Just drop the Direct already!!!

Mmm... okay, I'm actually possibly buying a direct happening now. Many coincidences, the lack of Animal Crossing Update or Smash DLC news... it might just happen.

Would definitely show up my 'next Direct is in March/April' prediction.

@BabyYoshi12

It doesn't have to be today. TGS 2020 begins tomorrow and runs through the weekend. Nintendo may not drop a Direct until that event is over. Keeping the spotlight on themselves.

So are we thinking they're gonna shadow drop a regular direct mini with first party news tomorrow? It is a Thursday after all.

Either a shadow-dropped Direct Mini tomorrow, or something announced on Monday to air the next day.
