Topic: New Switch-screen issue?

Hello all, I'm new to this forum and to the Switch. I just bought a brand new Switch and started playing Pokemon Shield. The game is great but I quickly noticed that during the animation to catch a Dynamax pokemon, there are white uneven lines in the pixels at the corner of the screen. I also discovered there are white or orange lines at the edge of the screen any time I'm in a darker lit area. Is this a normal issue with Pokemon Sword/Shield? Or is this a hardware issue that I should be returning my Switch for?

I'd post a picture but I'm not sure how to I'm this forum. Edit: got it. First pic is the corner of the screen during a catch (look top right). Second pic is a long orange line that is noticeable in darker places in the game (far right)

Thank you

@Arabbit To post pics you need the picture uploaded to the internet. Then you copy the URL of the picture and paste it inbetween a set of (img) and (/img) tags, but instead of using curly brackets you must use the boxy brackets [ ].

You guys had me at blood and semen.

What better way to celebrate than firing something out of the pipe?

@Arabbit I haven't played SW/Sh yet, so can't compare directly, but I think I experience similar on my Switch with certain loading screens on Rocket League. I just put it down to 'screen bleed' where for some reason the picture the game is trying to present just doesn't quite match the screen size/alignment properly. Can't think of anywhere else I've encountered it so I don't really consider my issue a hardware problem and assume it's more programming related.

Take it back and get replacement. It's under warranty issue. NL can't help much since that is Warranty and retailer you bought from if so to resolve this.
