I just dumped some money into my kids account so he can buy some games from the eshop. He goes to buy the game and it says that "he's not eligible to view the game" Yes, he is underage. But I will let him buy the game, and the money is already in his funds. How do I let him buy the game?
@Mikeredrum It sounds like you have the parental controls on. You can unlock them by putting in whatever PIN you set up, and then letting your youngster hit the eShop. Sound plausible?
An alternative can be to set up another profile on the Switch, a grown-up one, and buy the game using that one. However, your boy will still need parental controls unlocked to play the game on his profile.
Of course he couldn't see if the games have age rating NOT appropriate for his age.
Don't you EVER think to let your kid buy a rated Mature games without your acknowledge or you will regret to teach your kid with wrong way.
Check the age rating of the game before purchasing and do your job as responsible parent.
@Anti-Matter good looking out, but he already said he's ok with his son buying the game.
