Hi,

I bought my Nintendo Switch when I was living in the UK however I have recently moved to New Zealand. Is there any way I can change my device to use the New Zealand eshop? So I can use my New Zealand bank card to download games.

Cheers

@Harry1989 You can change your country from UK to NZ on your Nintendo account here

https://accounts.nintendo.com

Just log in and go to User information / Profile. After doing this, go into your Switch settings and change your region. Now you should be able to access the AUS/NZ Eshop.

Another option is to make a new NZ Nintendo account with a different email address, link that to Switch just like you did when you were setting up your UK one and now you'll have the option of a UK account and NZ account and you can browse both Eshop's . Not sure how beneficial this would be for you as they're both PAL regions, prices may vary though. I have a UK main US and JP account all linked to my Switch ,which is handy.

Which eshop is cheaper? Or are they basically the same? I just have the US shop atm... even tho I’m an Aussie living in SEAsia.

Pitifully predictable, Correctly political

@DizzyDee81 From experience I can tell you the American eShop is the cheapest. I've used EU and seen AU prices and so far NA has the best ones.

@DizzyDee81 I've read the Russian and South African Eshop's can be cheaper than even the US one .I'm a Brit living in SE Asia I mostly buy Eshop top-up codes from Amazon.com to use on the US Eshop. It's the easiest way for me.
