Sooo, my 400gb microSD card arrived. So I am re-downloading all my software to it, which is gonna take a while. All of the retail releases I bought physically, but I still bought a ton of digital indie games and Neo Geo games, plus MHXX I bought digital for convenience and that's only 50% downloaded right now.
Point being, I'm not sure if/when I'll be able to hunt tonight. I knew I was going to have to make this transition when the card released, and that time has finally come.

I'll be back to hunt with you guys and TeeJay, but Metroid Samus Returns released, and I've been waiting on a new Metroid for the better part of a decade. When I'm done playing the game I will be back in full force.
You needn't worry. This is an evergreen title that I'm sure all of us will be coming back to and playing long term. Ultil a new entry arrives on Switch, I will continue playing this game off and on.

I'm playing Metroid too. But I'm still making time for some MH here and there and some Splatoon 2 here and there, and also enjoying Dragonball Xenoverse 2, Pokken Tournament DX and Dreamworld Dig 2 (which is incredivle btw, fully endorse that game)

Grinder does nothing to speed the process of sharpening up. It simply allows your weapon to not lose sharpness for 1 minute after using a whetstone. Which means you're going to want to constantly use whetstones, which means speed sharpening is a must. There is a skill that increases item use duration by 50%, so the effect would last 90 seconds instead of 60, but that's still often enough to need to sharpen on the fly without leaving the area

Are you buying the game? And if so, do you have a modded 3DS? Can convert your Generations save into MHX save, then import into MHXX on 3DS and transfer to Switch. Better yet, you can reference the English patched MHXX on 3DS, and use the save transfer tool to shoot your Switch save file over to 3DS whenever you want, and reference your current save game in English beside you as you play on Switch (really useful for crafting). Can use Google Translate to scan items needed then paste the text into Google and click the search results for Kiranico, then toggle to English (database is translated by same team who did the 3DS fan translation). It works fine, but to me it's just so much easier to reference my game in English when I craft.
