Smaller "big" monsters tend to be a nightmare in higher ranks.

Specially in a team with a slam-happy hunting horn user.

Or any other big weapon that can launch other players.

...But I thought launching other players was useful now. lol

Not all "launches" let you attack in the air.

Some attacks can launch you, but not in the good "quick, now attack to mount the monster" way .

It's in the "oops now you're face-planted over there" way.

Wait, are you talking about stuff like gunlance shelling on other players? That kind of "launch"?

Anyway I don't think the good launches are useful with small monsters either anyway.

Oh, I dunno what to call those, I'm thinking of the high launches.
I also rarely play multi-player, so I don't know everything about that. I just know about shelling, because at the end of quests I will sometimes fire at my friends when we're all done carving. xD

@Joeynator3000 It's much more fun to pellet your friends while they're carving!

Do USB keyboards work with the switch, and does this game support them? I don't think I could play online without one.

I am so rusty but I didn't touch generations for months before I traded it in so it's to be expected.

Picked this up just now and want to start from scratch. For me it's just more fun that way. Not getting too deep though till I beat Octopath. Not letting anything get in the way of that!

I'm usually traditional all the way and dont like to try new things but think I'll go aerial this time around. Not giving up my great sword but might try switch axe this time as well. I like the big powerful weapons.

Speaking of chat, are we able to actually chat during quests again?

Aerial Switch Axe is my spin the bottle choice for MHGU also. Never played aerial. Never played Switchaxe. But my transfer has me with nothing but charge Blades. So it looks like I'll have to do some farming for a weapon which may not be immediate.

I need to go back and do some earlier quests to unlock some food items, run through keys for low rank village and get to G rank in MP, but that'll come later. Right now, village is priority.

Ugh...I thought it was possible with how Alex worded it in his video.
