@Balta666
Dang, you crushed this game 😁

I take my time and savor games. That, combined with being hooked on Zelda SS splitting my time means I’ll be lucky to finish this before Metroid Dread and Monkey Ball.

I'll probably play this off and on for months. With the exception of a couple games (SMT IV: Apocalypse, Breath of the Wild), I can't go through long epics in one go. Especially since I often try to do as much of the side content as possible.

Currently Playing: Yakuza 0: Director's Cut (NS2); Corpse Factory (PC)

I'll probably finish the game by the end of this month. Took me 2-3 months to finish Persona 5, and I usually play games until I finish them, unless a new game I'm looking forwards to comes out around the time, and I start losing interest halfway through.

Oh ya, I know how that goes.

Very few games do I finish nowadays. I buy so many as I get bored quickly and like constantly having something new to play. The problem is, unless the game grips me and doesn’t let go, when the next game releases I start playing and lose interest in whatever I was playing before.

I probably only actually beat a few games each year. Which is kind of crazy given how many I play. MH Rise, Pikmin 3, Monkey Ball Banana Blitz and Paper Mario are the last ones I can remember seeing all the way through in the past year.

I will beat this game though. And Zelda Skyward Sword. And Metroid Dread. And Cruis’n Blast. And Shin Megami Tensei V. Not sure about Monkey Ball because the first 3 are hardcore and there’s 3 games included, which is a lot. This year is gonna be a good one for games beaten at least. Alongside MH Rise, that’s 6 releases I’ll for sure roll credits on.

Maybe I'll finish the game in the next couple days, but I'll probably stick with it for a while because of PvP. Searching for the right genes might take a while.

@JaxonH well I had 55h on credits as I have done my fair share of sidequests (I believe about 130), trials, co-op battles and online.
The thing is I rarely play more than one game at the same time and I finish about 90% of the games I start.

@iskim It actually was the remobras. Three targeted me at once and I thought nothing of it. Big mistake haha.
I found that doing the Pink Rathian quest and crafting it's armor was a big help for starting all the deviant quests

What's the best approach regarding Monster Dens? I used to enter every one I saw but then it noticed the den patterns keep repeating (even the Everdens) so got bored and stopped visiting them.

Grumblevolcano

Balta666

@Grumblevolcano I would never enter a Monster den as they are worthless, rare dens are worth it on general but I too got bored and by the end game I stopped going at all or fighting altogether to be honest

@DomGC Honestly, this is really tempting to click on, but I really shouldn't.

@DomGC is not that bad. I actually got a good laugh out of it

Ok, beat Nargacuga and am now at this giant hole in the ground with Ena. Finally unlocked online co-op and vs, which is a really cool idea, even more so given you can play doubles.

Slow and steady, bit by bit. Gotta go do some side Quests now in my endeavor to compete every quest in the game as I go along.

@JaxonH That's pretty much the point where I stopped playing a couple of days ago.

Hopefully the co-op quests won't be too annoying to complete.

I’ve solo’d all the co-op side quests so far. Partially because I don’t really know how to invite a friend over to my game.

@Ralizah The AI is pretty good if you want to do it all solo. I've started doing some of the SR expedition quests and the AI companion is very heavy handed with the ancient potions to support the team

I recommend to get your Palamute as soon as you are able. It's quite a decent monster and a valuable asset for a good portion of the game. That and, well, they are adorable.

I just finished the story and loved it. Fortunately, there's still stuff to do in the game for me because I don't wanna play anything else yet.

Is it just me, or does the story’s pacing feel as if it’s going by far too quickly.

@VoidofLight It speeds up tremendously in the fourth area but I just saw that as a positive, it was pretty engaging. Having said that I still took ages to get it done as I am far too ocd about getting all the sidequests out of the way and getting at least one decent egg from each of the monsters.

I'm kinda confused because I still saw a lot of dialogue in the end and everything was explained before and happening at that point. Kinda hard to say more without spoilers but I'll just say I'm pretty satisfied with the story and it's outcome.
