Does this game have an American or European release? Love to play it in English but don't mind using Google translate on my phone as an alternative. Already doing that for Neko Tomo already~. Thank you in advance for any help~✌️ I'm thinking Model Debut is like Style Savvy or similar to it. I could be wrong~ 🤷‍♀️✌️

I'm thinking Model Debut Nicola for Nintendo switch very well might be the sequel to Girls Fashion Shoot 3DS. The graphics & game play look strikingly similar but the Nintendo switch game looks a bit more polished than the 3ds version. Ohh girl's fashion shoot 3ds was released in America & Europe for the 3ds back then. I have the American copy of the game. Model Debut Nicola is the generic counterpart to Style Savvy 3ds lol~ 🤣

@CactusMan

I know Model Debut Nicola is real. Just thought it might be the sequel to Girls Fashion Shoot on 3DS. Look up both the graphics & gameplay. There almost identical. Which makes me wonder if whoever released girl's fashion shoot 3ds maybe the same company released model Debut? As for saying generic think about it. Style Savvy is first party by Nintendo where Model Debut Nicola is a third party game.

@YuzuRibbon

Style Savvy is good because it's first party by Nintendo. When it's a 3rd party game it's 50 / 50 whether or not the game is going to be awesome or garbage~ 🤷‍♀️✌️

I want to add something about girlie games I have ever played.
Between Style Savvy and Nicola Kanshuu (Girl Fashion Shoot) are completely different games.
Style Savvy was emphashizing on finding the right clothing for specific clients while Nicola Kanshuu (Girl Fashion Shoot) was emphashizing on taking photo with a lot of different pose.
I have Imagine Fashion Life 3DS with three different jobs (model, designer, manager) which you can choose. The way you play as model or designer or manager are completely different thing.
I played My Universe Fashion Boutique on PS4 and it was really tedious.
The game was emphashizing on making clothing with different materials / colors / style for specific clients with some mini games to make a clothing from measuring, cutting and sewing.

I have both style savvy games on 3ds & girl's fashion shoot. Your right style savvy really focuses on fashion where girl's fashion shoot 3ds is more photo shoots, modeling etc. Heavily considering getting Model Debut Nicola next month or the month after. Not sure if getting it in Feb or March lol~ 🤷‍♀️✌️ I remember imagine fashion life 3ds just been a while since I played it but still a good game. I also played imagine babyz fashion ds as well & loved it~ 🥰

@Barbiegurl777 actually there’s 3 style savvy games on 3ds. 😁 Trendsetters, Fashion Forward, and Styling Star. I love them all! But I think they are bringing Styling Star to switch because screenshots of it appeared on the girly monitors variation of a computer system in Happy Home Paradise. I could very clearly see Rosie from Styling Star and it had other images I’d seen in the game. 🤩

@Kiyata

I played trendsetter's & fashion forward. Your right. I heard styling star is supposedly coming this june~ 🤷‍♀️✌️

Well I waited on Nintendo of America to get there act together when the 3ds was out & waited on several titles & it was just ridiculous. The switch is region free & if Nintendo of America can't be bothered to release the game here then I'm straight up importing. The switch is region free why not enjoy it? 😉

From my gaming experience, between Style Savvy and Model Debut Nicola (I played the 3DS version Girl Fashion Shoot) are two different games.
Style Savvy was emphasizing on picking the right clothing type for specific clients, more like playing as boutique owner while Model Debut Nicola (Nicola Kanshuu games) was emphasizing on taking a pose for certain photo shoot, pick the best one then decorate them, not playing as boutique owner.

I played JS Girls also on 3DS with similarity as Girl Fashion Shoot but your objection is picking the right pose for certain photoshoot as your photographer will commenting your pose choices whether your pose choice was right or not working for the photoshoot you have.
After photoshoot you can pick one fashion item from the photoshoot as a reward.
Both JS Girls and Girl Fashion Shoot have same objection by taking a pose for photoshoot but in JS Girls, you learnt new poses from meeting the new NPC who will teach you new pose and every pose are divided into 5 category while for Girl Fashion Shoot, you learnt new poses by taking a private course and pay some money. The poses in Girl Fashion Shoot didn't divided into different category but you can use the same pose with different facial expression.

I’d love to see a sequel to girls fashion shoot also on switch. I really liked that game, it reminded me a lot of Imagine Fashion Designer on DS from around 2007-ish. There were a lot of fun fashion games on the DS, including an adorable Barbie one that has some style savvy and fashion designer feels. Some of them actually had you cutting fabric and sewing and stuff which was cool. There’s a huge market for these games on switch… after 5 years of the system being out you’d think we’d have some good fashion games by now, especially Style Savvy… I do hope it comes out in June (or sooner!)

@Kiyata

Yess~ The DS & 3DS had a plethora of Barbies games for both. I bought & still have every barbie game for the ds & 3ds. I noticed there's no barbie games at all on the Nintendo switch which is odd because barbie has been on almost every Nintendo platform even since the NES back in the early 90's & also the same with the original Gameboy. Kind of disturbing not seeing any barbie game at all on the Nintendo switch. Wondering is maybe the UK / Europe maybe got some barbie Nintendo switch game's. Not sure. 🤷‍♀️✌️

@Anti-Matter

Soo I was right? Girl's Fashion Shoot 3ds is the precursor to Model Debut Nicola Nintendo switch? Lol yay~ 🤣✌️

One thing that I experienced from Barbie games, the games are really mediocre and low budget.
I have played Barbie as Island Princess on Wii and Barbie in 12 Dancing Princess PS2, those games are really mediocre from very poor 3D detail, stiff movements, repetitive things, etc but at least their games are easy enough. I was laughing and felt bad at the same time to see the mediocre quality from Barbie games. It has strong potential to be a good game but the games oftenly get developed by small developers with less experience in making proper games.

For Nintendo Switch, you can hoping Nippon Columbia as publisher of girlie / kawaii games on NDS, 3DS and Switch such as Pretty Princess Party, Pups & Purr Animal Hospital, JS Girls, etc keep making girlie games on Switch.

Pretty Princess Party is a wonderful game… it’s so girly and beautiful, I absolutely love it! Also I have most or all of the Barbie games too… aside from the fashion one I also have the glam pups one on DS and another, I forget the name but I think you style hair and stuff (it’s been ages since I played it). I also have the DreamHouse party on 3ds. I love dolls, and I dress them (in real life) and do photo shoots for them so games like that are really something I can get into! There’s also a doll dress up game on the eShop for ds/3ds that I have that’s like a low budget style savvy/girls fashion shoot hybrid. You dress up the dolls (they look like just regular girls not dolls), and you can edit the backgrounds with all kinds of cute stuff. I used to upload the pix to the miiverse years ago.
BarbieGurl and anti-matter, you both seem to like the same games I do, and I see your friend codes there, can I add you two as friends on my switch? 😀

Thanks! I added you anti-matter, and since I was on there, I sent a request to BarbieGurl too, I hope she doesn’t mind 😊

Sure no problem. I'll add you~ 🤣👍✌️ I to also enjoy doll's particularly from the 80's, 90's, early 2000 era & some current doll's. My favorite are mechanical / interactive doll's & reborn doll's. I also dress mine up as well lol~ Pretty Princess Party is on my hit list as well to get. Is it better for physical cartridge or DL'ing? It depends on the file size. If it's a pretty big game might get physical copy if small might DL~ 🤣

@Anti-Matter

Try Barbie & The Three Musketeers DS & Barbie Jet, Set, & Style DS. I was very impressed by those 2 in particular with the graphics. Barbie & The Three Musketeers DS is recently my favorite~ 🥰 I did try Barbie & the 12 dancing princesses on GBA & DS. It was one of the few barbie games that gave me a headache from trying to figure out the game play back then... 🤦‍♀️✌️ It's ashame to because the movie was excellent so had high hopes for the games as I loved the movie~ 🤦‍♀️ Is there a way how to look the games up by publisher. Really been wanting to look up games by Nippon Columbia for a while now & Bandai Namco as well~ 🥰

@Barbiegurl777 thanks! And Pretty Princess Party is one you’d probably love. It plays a lot like Animal Crossing Happy Home where you design all these rooms, but in a huge castle. It’s also got a few easy party games (like Carnival Games) you play to earn stuff to advance in the game. I just love that game! I wish they’d make a sequel. There’s a LOT of content in the game as it is tho cause not only do you decorate the castle but you also do tons of houses for these bunnies around town. Also since you’re a princess in the game you get to decorate your own room (wallpaper, flooring, lights, furniture, everything!) and of course you get all these beautiful clothes, makeup, and hairstyles to wear!
I saw the game was $35 new for the physical copy on Amazon the other day… I keep trying to tell my little sister to buy it but she’s so not into anything girly lol
Oh as for dolls, I like reborn dolls but I don’t have any yet, though I do have 2 Ashton drake baby dolls that are very similar to reborn. I also have American Girl dolls, Classic/Vintage style Cabbage Patch Kids, and Disney Petite Princess dolls and American Girl Mini Dolls 😊

@Kiyata

I'll probably be getting pretty princess party in June or July mainly because going to try to get all the import games out of the way first lol~ Yeah pretty princess party sounds right up my alley though~ 🤣👍 As for doll's I have:

Baby Talk - Brunette Boy Version, 2 Blonde Girl versions (1st gen & 2nd gen) & African American girl version
Starbrite Sparkles - X3 (Triplets)
PJ Sparkles
Baby Sparkles
My Buddy Brunette Blink N Wink version
Amazing Amy
Amazing Amanda
Little Tikes Talking T Pete
Roger Rabbit pull string doll
Steve Urkel pull string doll
2 Miracle Moves Baby Doll's - 2001 & 2002 version. Both mechanical but both different functions.
Twinkling Thumbelina
Granny World Doll
Baby Brother Tender Love
Special Blessings Christina (Krissy) Prayer Doll
Special Blessings Matthew Prayer Doll
Barney stuffed animal

Several Rugrats doll's there vintage but we're bought new at the time in the early 2000 era & only owned by me & several Baby Alive doll's. I also have a few vintage cabbage patch dolls from the 90's but not many. The texture of the yarn hair used to really bother me for some reason. I always preferred the doll's with smooth silky hair to do hair styles on the doll's etc. I still have cabbage patch Brunette boy snack time kid (he wears a hat). I also have 2 cabbage patch baby so real blonde & brunette versions. The only doll's I don't do is American girl & porcelain. American girl is to expensive & after owning a few porcelain dolls over the years they just break way to easily to where it makes me uncomfortable around them for fear of breaking them again. The old expression: A bull in a china shop very fitting me around porcelain dolls lol~ 🤣

@Barbiegurl777 wow that’s a great collection you have there! I’ve got 55 American Girl dolls and yes they are very expensive, but almost all of them were bought on sales/deals/discounts. I’ve pretty much stopped buying them now as I’m focusing more on cabbage patch kids. I had the original ones when I was little and they have been long gone for ages, so in 2020 I started getting some again and so far I have 6. I do like the silky hair of my American Girl dolls, it’s easy to style and very pretty…. But I also love the cutesy rag doll feels of the vintage cabbage patch kids too. Something about this pandemic made me want to reach back to some childhood fun/memories. 😊
Do you share pictures of your dolls online? I made an Instagram page for mine years ago but haven’t been posting lately. I still take pictures some but I’ve just been doing so many other things too lately like video games, building lego sets and lego art, and other stuff 😁
