@Barbiegurl777 oh cool, I requested a follow, and you can see mine too if you’d like 😊 I really need to start posting again. I’ve gotten a few new dolls since I was last on there! I even have some pix of my dolls with video games (including style savvy) and tamagotchis.
I’ve always wanted a reborn doll. My Ashton Drake ones are cute, but very low budget dolls… I think I posted a pic of each of them a couple years ago on Instagram.
Do you play tamagotchi at all? I have a bunch of those! The new Pix version are so cute! They also have several tamagotchi games on ds and other systems (not switch tho).

I thought Ashton Drake were supposed to be the more expensive reborn dolls~ 🤷‍♀️ Thought of getting a Ashton Drake doll before~ 🤔 Yeah I have a White Tamagotchi 4U & a Pink Tamagotchi Pix~ 👍 I have played a few Tamagotchi DS games a while back~ 😎👍

@Barbiegurl777 Ashton drake dolls are usually like $100-300, and real reborn dolls are $600-$2000 from what I’ve heard! Isn’t that crazy? 😱 lol it’s definitely way past my budget 😅
How do you like the tamagotchi pix? I think it’s really cute, especially since tamagotchi’s website gives us new gifts for it via QR codes twice a week! I also have the meets/on, and those are adorable too! The wonder garden one is super cute, I play that with the app and marry their characters they have online like Santa Claus for instance lol. Makes some silly Tama babies! 🤪 my sister got the Sanrio tamagotchis from Japan, I wish I had those, I love Sanrio!

I totally agree with you. My cut off is $100 for any doll reborn or mechanical. $2000 is just to extreme no matter how realistic the doll is & if people really want to spend that much on doll then they have money to throw away lol. I like Tamagotchi pix didn't realize there was a website oops~ 🤣 My Tamagotchi died about 5 times. Having to reset game. Cool my Tamagotchi 4U is a Japanese Tamagotchi from Japan as well~ I also love sanrio. Going to get the hello kitty sanrio Nintendo switch game later: Puru yara friends hoppe chan sanrio characters Nintendo switch later~ 🥰💕

@Barbiegurl777 there’s a Sanrio game on switch?! 😲 I need that! Is it only an import? Sorry to hear about your Tamas dying! Do you have the sitter take care of them during the day? I think that helps a lot, they stay a long time, like till almost bedtime 😄

Yes Japanese game. Hello Kitty / Sanrio was the first thing I looked for on switch lol. Just going to take me a month or 2 to get it because trying to get 2 games a month depending on the games prices~ 🤣 I'm tempted to try Girl's Side story as well which the first 3 games are on the Nintendo DS & the 4th installment of the series is on the Nintendo switch. As for Tamagotchi's sometimes I leave them with a sitter other times playing. Maybe I'm not feeding them enough lol~ 🤷‍♀️ My first Tamagotchi (101 dalmatians version) I never had this problem with before back then. Always a well fed pooch in the game~ 🤣🤷‍♀️✌️

When I get the hello kitty game in march or April. I"ll post pics~ 🥰🤣

@Barbiegurl777 I can’t wait to see your pix of the hello Kitty game! 🤩 my brother speaks fluent Japanese and went to school in Sapporo Japan for several years. For him, getting import games is no problem lol. I haven’t bought any myself, even though there’s a ton of them I’d love to have! Also I didn’t know there was a Dalmatians tamagotchi! I do like that in the meets/on series you get pets and can have them breed also. I would always get a pair or tamagotchis so that I could have mine marry, play together and have their pets breed too. That’s one thing I miss in the Pix version is you can’t do any of that 🤷🏻‍♀️

@YuzuRibbon Reborn dolls…. it’s really no different aesthetically than playing realistic video games. However are these dolls morbid? Absolutely not. But there are realistic video games where people kill and do violent things. Now THAT is morbid.

He speaks fluent japanese? I had a few friends in high school that were from Japan foreign exchange students. Very nice people. It's cool your brother can speak in Japanese. The dalmatian Tamagotchi was released in either 2000 or 2001. I got it from Toys r Us back then. Pretty long time ago. I'll try to get that little kitty game in March or April. I want to play it sooner as opposed later anyways lol. 🤣👍

Reborn dolls are meant to look realistic. I enjoy having them. I've liked doll's since the age of 2. I got into video games & doll's both at the age of 2 back then. It was only a few years ago I started getting into the reborn dolls. I got them partly because I like / enjoy doll's to begin with as a hobby & also I like the realism to them as well. They have very sweet faces. It also depends on who you get the doll from though like a custom reborn designed however you want it to look by going to a reborn artist or getting an alternative reborn that looks dark / gothic. I'm not into the alternative reborn dolls. I think they go a little to far but some people like them having a dark look to them. 🤷‍♀️✌️ It all depends on a person's taste in doll's~ 🤷‍♀️✌️

@Barbiegurl777 yes about my brother… it’s a funny thing, he got a game for the DS that’s supposed to teach you Japanese and he was so fascinated with the language that after he finished high school he went to college for that and then they sent him to Japan for several years and ultimately became a translator which is pretty cool. He’s an avid video gamer (loves Pokémon and many other games), and it’s kind of funny that his whole love for the Japanese language and culture started with video games. He moved back here when the pandemic started though. I’m not sure when or if he plans to go back over there. The world has changed so much in the last 2 years!

Wow~ He must be a really fast learner. I know the DS game your talking about. I played it years ago on my DS lite. That is very true. You know Nintendo started in Japan originally back in the 80's. That's why all the games are released there. America & the UK get the games that they think will work in either 2 regions with out causing controversy like different culture differences etc. If you ever want to see all the games released on any Nintendo console or handheld always look at there Japanese games first. 😉👍

Got Model Debut Nicola & Doraemon Learning Collection for Nintendo switch ordered. Just got to wait on the mail now~✉️📦📫🥰

Ohh & Nicola Kanshuu: Model Oshare Audition 3DS (Japanese version) is Girl's Fashion Shoot 3DS (American version) go on YouTube. The graphics are 100% identical which means Model Debut Nicola Nintendo switch is the sequel to the 3ds game or at least it's the continuation of that series. 🤷‍♀️

@Barbiegurl777 oh my goodness what are you waiting for?! 😆 Lol… seriously that’s just the coolest game ever. You know, all the style savvy games are the same but also very different. Like the third one for instance had you decorate the doll houses which was adorable. But styling star is about a group of young ladies aspiring to be singers and they move to your town one by one and you help them with fashion of course but also you get to see their live concerts with real singing, plus learn their back story and see how their friendships develop and stuff. It’s a very clean game too which is so nice.. And the clothing options in this game are incredible! There’s so much! I also like that they made it so you can have infinite storage finally. 😀 it’s just a wonderful game all around. I think it took me about 70 hours to finish the story… it was so awesome I’m playing thru it all over again, and I have a million other games to play but still keep going back to this one 😊

Your best bet is to always check the seller's rating's. eBay seems ok so far so good. I mostly import from Japan & the UK sometimes. The seller: Games.Cartridges on eBay. I never bought from him / her before but they have a 99.0% rating zero negative ratings. I assume there on the up & up. Got the game for $36.99 & $13.50 in shipping. Be aware $1 to $20 in shipping for games seem's to be a thing when getting any Nintendo switch game online. There are some that have free shipping but not alot. That's great if it has both languages. Thought I would have to use Google translate on my phone like Neko Tomo Nintendo switch lol~ 🤣

My Model Debut Nicola Nintendo Switch game is coming in a while. It's the first game. I'll let you know when I get the game if I see both languages on it. Pretty sure the Japanese language will be on it for sure because it's a Asian copy of the game. 🤷‍♀️✌️
