@BLP_Software Yeah i should be able to do it i got to 85 i even closed my eyes and just kept pressing the button as consistent as possible after 50 just very frustrating. That it seems like i need a 40 dollar turbo controller which i'm surprised the Horipad has turbo because i was gonna get that eventually. Oh well just another 3D Mario game i probably won't be able to 100 percent not nearly as bad as Mario Galaxy 1 and 2. Off topic had to delete Snake Pass because i was having major issues with the controls just didn't gel with me probably just a case of getting good regarding both games but i'll just stick with Mario since most of the game i should be able to get through probably 75-80 percent.
@BLP_Software Not there yet in the game do you mean i can just buy that Moon or a just a random Moon to add to the counter to basically count as that challenge? If so that's great news because i have a very limited amount of patience with chronic pain. I might try it again later on though just to see if i can get into some sort of a rhythm
@canucksfan989 In the post game you can buy as many Moons as you want. There are 880 for doing all the listed objectives in each Kingdom, and the counter stops at 999 with a special reward (Above 100% if you like to think that way).
However if a Moon is too much for you, go buy it. It wont cross the mission off the list, but it adds to the counter.

@BLP_Software Ah nice thanks for the info good to know i should be able to get like i said i got to 85 with my eyes closed once i crossed 50 so close to getting lol at least it wasn't like 99.
Not sure if I am correct, but once I played the game in handheld mode, I could easily (in 5 times) do the jump rope challange, while I couldn't reach 60 before that. Maybe there is some lag in docked mode that makes it harder? Also make sure to tap the button after 40, not press it fully.
@essiw I, too, found it much easier (well, as easy as taking most of the entire day to pull off) to reach 50 and beyond on almost every try. I tried going back to docked mode but I could hardly reach 40 there. And no, my tv does not produce lag, I just find it easier to time my jumps with headphones on and the screen closer.

You have to execute every jump the same, even the very slow ones to get a good feel.
Only use very light/short taps every time you make a jump.
Also mind the “cloud of dust” when the rope hits the ground, it can help your timing significantly.
For the jumprope challenge, I just stood on the "edge" of the rope, not in the middle. I put the camera to the side as if it was a 2D minigame. Then there was enough room to jump over the rope even when it was getting fast, and I was able to beat it.
