New overview trailer has been released!

Still on the fence with this one. I played the demo and it looks very nice for sure but I still have the Wii version which holds up surprisingly well so Idk. PSVR 2 is coming out next week anyway so I'll likely have to put this game on hold for the time being.

This new trailer has me completely sold. I'm glad I put off buying a Wii copy in favor of this one. I still have some stuff I want to finish up before I dig into it, but once I get paid at the end of the month, I'll probably pick this one up.

...I find it weird that all I care about right now is if there's a True Arena EX and how the final boss there will turn out. lol

Hi. All I'm doing here is asking if this is the same as the Wii version I own. I'm just asking to see if buying this would be the same as buying a game I already own. Any replies would be helpful.

@Baking_cOokie It's the same game as the Wii version, with quite a few new features and an added bonus game once you beat the main game.

@Baking_cOokie New minigames, new Magalor Epilogue mode (basically a new Extra Mode on top of the one the game already has), and likely a new harder True Arena. So yeah, it has a lot of new stuff, main Kirby games tend to go all out with remakes and stuff.

I played the original digital version on Nintendo Wii U. This game came out on Nintendo Wii. Looking forward to the Deluxe remake.

I loved the original Wii game, so this remake is going onto my Switch on release.

I'm happy for HAL Laboratory's efforts on the Switch thus far. Star Allies and Forgotten Land have all amazed me, so more mainline Kirby games are welcome to me.

Never got around to playing this game on Wii so I just downloaded the demo to check it out. More then likely will buy it but for now I figured I would at least check out the demo.

I wonder what time it'll release, usually it's supposed to be midnight but sometimes they end up releasing a couple of hours early or something. lol

Yeah I'm just ready to play this game already. xD

Yeah after playing the demo last night, I am definitely going to be buying it. Just waiting now for it to become available on the eShop.

Amazon's been kinda bad lately. Even Kirby is delayed until Tuesday for me.

IIRC, the life counter got reset back to the starting amount when you turned the game off on the Wii version. I'm not sure if this version does the same thing or not

Not very happy about it, especially because I preordered several weeks in advance, with Prime, and with a large distribution and fulfillment center on the other side of the town I live in. I probably won't preorder from them again unless I have gift cards or something incentivizing me to do so (I have one more that I might use on Advance Wars). It already stunk when they removed the 20% off preorder policy under Prime, but if they're not reliable about delivering them on-time anymore, I'll gladly buy from other retailers instead. I just got Metroid Prime Remastered through Best Buy (mostly because I had in-store credit to burn and they had their listing up first), and it arrived on time, earlier than when Amazon packages do in my experience, and with free shipping. I'll probably look to them for future preorders, since that was my first time doing it through them.

@PikaPhantom absolutely. Without the discount, and the last few pre-orders coming in later than anticipated, I think I've ordered from them for the last time.

Downloading it now so it will be ready to play when I get home from work tonight.
