Topic: Kirby ‘s Return to Dreamland Deluxe

Kirby ‘s Return to Dreamland Deluxe For switch.

I've heard this game is supposed to be pretty good, so I'm interested

Just wanting to know what other new stuff it'll have, since this is a remake or something. We already know about a new ability and a minigame. Wondering if it'll have a new mode, or new bosses or something, lol

Yeah, the visual style looks off...reminds me of Smash on 3DS. So it just makes me think it's a 3DS game or something, lol

Never got to play Return to Dreamland when I was younger so I am over the moon about this. The new art style and Mecha ability especially are fantastic.

@Giowo Well RtD is in it of itself the remnants of a cancelled Gamecube Kirby game so I suppose it all comes back together?

Yeah, I missed this the first time around so I'll be all over it.

I thought the way they worded it during the announcement was a bit off. It's a remake? I mean yeah: it's got updated cutscenes, graphics and some new minigames and ability but it feels like more of a remaster to me. After all, it only came out....t-ten....years.....ago.....w-wait no. No, no th-that can't be right. L-let me look this up.

How is Return to Dreamland over a decade old.

So I want to ask very important question.
Is the ability to make a friend by throwing a heart only from Star Allies but there is no making friends in Return to Dreamland?
(Solo gameplay without NPC that helped me)

@Dev9417 Don't remember being able to play as Dedede or Bandana. >.<

Thought it was just the extra mode where you play as Meta Knight...then again I rarely play any games in multiplayer, so maybe that was there in the original and I never saw it. lol

It should have kept its name in the uk release.
Kirbys adventure Wii deluxe

I would've snapped this up pretty quickly if I JUST hadn't tracked down and played through a Wii copy lol. I might still grab this eventually, but it'll be awhile. I wholeheartedly recommend this one for Kirby fans.

@Tyranexx Nah, it was this game, but yeah I rarely play multiplayer in games, so that's probably what happened and why I was confused.

I'm glad i've held off getting the Wii Version of the game. i'll wait for the Switch Version instead. i'm honestly down for more Kirby games (including Kirby and the Forgotten Land.)

I really enjoyed the Wii version. I don't really like the outlines they have added, but it isn't awful. The new sub games are a good addition. Hopefully it will run at 60 fps unlike Star Allies

Kinda wish I didn't own the WII version now! Haha.

@Joeynator3000 Same TBH; I never tried the multiplayer at all. I just learned about it through some online reading and in-game tutorials.
