Nope.
You guys had me at blood and semen.
What better way to celebrate than firing something out of the pipe?
@Grantbp In general, since the lawsuits & bad publicity, here in the US warranty period is no longer an issue for drift. Until now, all joycons will be repaired for drift.(unless there's a policy change) Is your issue joycon drift? (drifting analog stick input, also phantom input.)
If you can share what the problem is with your joycon that may be helpful.
If you called them, and you think you're wrongly getting refused, you can try another rep, or ask for the customer service manager to explain why they can, or cannot, fix your joycon.
Hi,thanks for reply..yes I a drift issue and the L and R depress buttons no longer work. The service team are saying there is water damage and that voids the warranty,I am not aware of any water damage other than sweaty palms perhaps but the liquid indicator has been tripped apparently
I suppose it depends on where you live. Here in the US, Nintendo is still offering a no-questions-asked free repair program for all Joy Cons. I just recently sent in a Joy Con because the L-button was becoming intermittent, and Nintendo had the repaired unit back to me within a week. Although I don't think Nintendo actually repairs them, I think they just send out a brand new Joy Con each time, because whenever I've gotten one back, it's always in pristine condition.
@Mountain_Man I actually sent mine in Two weeks ago because my right stick wouldn't actually register full North. Only found out bc I couldn't go skyward for skyward sword.
Nonetheless, I had a couple little smudges on the controller so when I got it back, I knew it was the same one I sent out. Maybe they just send out new ones in certain instances is my guess.
