Easy thing to keep them apart is that the pop group is written with two S'es.

Not sure if serious.

You guys had me at blood and semen.

What better way to celebrate than firing something out of the pipe?

This. I tend to use "Bros." when referring to game titles with the word in it; I typically refer to Mario and Luigi as "Brothers".

Usually brothers. What drives me crazy is when someone pronounces Mario as Mair-io. Maybe they’re correct or not. But definitely in the minority around here in the pronounciation.

What does this have to do with Switch?

I’d like to assume this is in relation to the Mario and Smash series, and not just a question about the general usage of the word “brother”.

I even heard several time "Brooze" o_O Dunno if it's about an accent or something but I thought, gosh what a strange way to say it. ^^

@Yosheel
Indonesian keep calling Smash Brothers as Smash Bross due to misunderstanding about English words.

As in "SUPER MARIO BRUDDAS TWO BAYYBEE".

It's just Smash. The Bros. is silent.

Might be an accent thing. Where I live you'll hear people say "I warsh my hands in teh zink".

Sup brah?

That's how bros say it.

Sakurai: Which is why I think we should forget about console wars and focus on what’s really important: enjoying the games themselves.

Let me guess,
where you live people say "pixchur" for picture too?
If it's the case, I'd say Washinton or Baltimore...

Try the midwest. Even neighboring towns don't have the same accent as the city I live in.

@FaeKnight

Wow the midwest, this is difficult, I've never been there...

Kansas ? Missouri ? Dunno...

@FaeKnight: I can relate with the "warsch" terminology. Some of the older ladies on my mom's side (namely my grandma and great aunt's) pronounce it that way.

(Also from the Midwest, btw)

That's some pretty odd enunciation.
