@SKTTR thanks for that list, that makes me a little more optimistic. Wii and wii u had some great games they really did, I'd love for the wii and wii u library to come to the switch, I mean how could they not make money off it? I never got the wii or wii u but Instead went for the 3ds xl, which is great, but considering my taste in games I should have gone for the wii.
Hollow looks great, some say it's a dead space clone, but that's not a bad thing! Going by your list I hope the res evil revelations games come before Halloween?
Wii is one of my favourite console ever! PS2, Wii and Gamecube (but you can use GC games too if you have a Wii) are the best in my opinion. 3DS is fine I like it but I definitely prefer Wii. On the other hand Wii U was rather disappointing for me...
If the Switch is truly going to take over all of the Vita developers (if I keep saying it, it will come true), then we should get a Corpse Party somewhere down the line. No game has scared me more than being hunched over a mobile phone playing that first one. Brrrrr...
Edit: When we expecting Flipping Death? Looks fantastic, and would be an ideal Halloween release.
@Qwertyninty tbf I would prefer some indie title, as your right apart from res evil revelations nothing else is on the radar. Hollow and perception is indie I think so not counting those?
Man, I hope so. Nintendo systems have a long history of not receiving horror games in time for Halloween...
I mean, I'm OK with just replaying RE 4, REmake, and Silent Hill 2 every Halloween, plus I have a massive backlog of decent horror games to pick through... But I would buy a solid horror game just out of freshness and principle during October. Except for possibly the depths of winter, the same games are a much tougher sell at full price most months.
@ACK I don't get why either? It seems common sense for any company to dish out games that relate to the season or holiday they are in? It's like u say surely they would sell better round hallowe'en?!
@Deathwalka yeah need to hear more about hollow. Wonder how bad of a downgrade would be needed for switch. Either way I'm in. What engine is hollow running on?
@Octane - I can see a Dark Souls collection release eventually. I mean, both companies are "looking" into the Switch as potential investment for their games. Sadly, both seem to have their heads so far up their butt they require "testing" to see if people buy games on a game console...
@Qwertyninty I don't think it will be much of a downgrade at all, the switch will easily run this. The switch is a lot power fuller then people give credit for but we live in a time where anything less then a PS4 or xbox one is last gen. which I find ridiculous as gamers who are open minded are not concerned with graphic power one bit, so many of the games on the consoles these days are overhyped regurgitated rehashed games that were done better on less powerful consoles.
