From what I can tell, it's much more faster paced than Monster Hunter. I do like the longer hunts in MH, but at the same time I do like how I don't have to take 40 minutes dealing with a single quest. lol
Anyways been giving this game a long break, I kinda want to get back into it again. How much content is there after the main story? Is there a second final boss or something like what MH likes to do? lol
It takes some time, just gotta learn the movesets for weapons and figure out which move is powered up via that Burst stuff. As for Burst, you activate it by Devouring live enemies.
Well, 2.00 is out now, so I think I will make a fresh start in this game since I didn't progress very far in my last run. Hopefully I can get my head wrapped around everything now. PLUS with the added content and upcoming 2.10 content...seems pretty much some extended end game once I reach that point.
Reccomend it even if your not a monster hunter fan?
All I can say is to try it, it's shorter than the MH games, and also faster paced, basically the battles won't last as long and all that. Also, bewbs...plenty of bewbs. lol
There's a demo if you wanna have a taste or something.
I fired up copy for the first time today. I was taken aback by the 1.6 GB update to the Switch's on-board memory. WTH? Usually, the on-board memory is reserved for game saves. Typically game updates are added to the micro sd card, which has space aplenty.
