@Marcalous I don't really like paper pin animation and despite me wishing it was more hand animated sprite work, they captured the G 'n' G vibe I think the gameplay looks fab. And that's the main thing.

I get you but for me I'm just happy, looks like the cover art on previous games
Im 25 now but grew up playing super ghosts and goblins, if its not hard I will be gutted, I want it to be so frustrating that I want to brake my joycons
@slowdive never played the psp version, would brake my heart if their isn't a physical version
@Marcalous I must say, the fact it starts hand drawn in a storybook and fleshes out into the game really suits the animation style. If every level opens with a similar introduction, I'll actually be very pleased

Digital only? Hard pass, until a deep discount, then I'll use gold coins.
Some folks don't like the art style but I think it looks great.

I like the art style, but some of the enemy animation looks too much like old Flash-style animation - it looks so cheap & off-putting(like the piranha plant & turtles in the trailer). Overall, I still think it looks cool, but Flash style animation is very distracting to me.
I dunno if the art style of this game will work out or not, but when I saw people compare it to Megaman 11, it made me appreciate it more instantly. Because at least this game has a distinct art style.
I find the appeal in the games lies in the constant struggle, like you just power on and on, and I really like Capcom acknowledging that. The art style looks alright, I just hope the music is not all orchestrated.
And to anyone worried about difficulty, there's multiple options which change the amount of hits Arthur can take. I'm really looking forward to this, Hope it's good.
