The Messenger has already received a limited print via Special Reserve, it may or may not get a wider retail release at some point, several Digital Devolver published games have gotten standard releases after their limited print (Enter the Gungeon, Hotline Miami Collection, Carrion, etc). https://specialreservegames.com/the-messenger-switch-reserve/
And the Blastermaster Trilogy is available all on one cartridge if you order a Japanese copy, either from AmazonJP or Play-Asia. https://www.amazon.co.jp/-/en/dp/B08ZT3HTD7
Lastly, the Cuphead physical is on hold until the DLC is finished, which is indefinite since nobody knows when that'll be completed.
Switch Physical Collection - 1,251 games (as of April 24th, 2024)

Horace (great game) already has a physical release. It's a standard retail release (at least here in the UK).
In a serious answer as to which games "need" a physical release (and this is a serious non-joke suggestion) I'd say a Picross collection of S1, S2 and S3. That's the sort of collection in a physical box that would sell well in places like Tesco & Asda where the videogames are often literally across the aisle from the puzzle magazines aimed at 60 something year olds.
Probably will happen after backers get their copy.
Although I imagine it'll be a Limited Run Games distributed release only.

@MarioBrickLayer I've just done a quick search and it appears I'm completely and utterly wrong (it happens!). I was 100% sure I'd seen it come up on various Argos and Amazon searches but it must have just been selling digital keys with an image or maybe just my old brain failing on me!
Ok, after giving it much thought (and I better pray I haven't missed some sort of release lol) tried to mention games maybe overlooked
Glyph
Pool Panic
A Short Hike (probably already mentioned)
Tumbleseed (honestly, I would have thought it would have had one!)
Aqua Kitty
Bezier
Forma 8
Grim Fandango
Marble It Up!
Paper Ball Deluxe
Rogue Trooper
Subsurface Circular
Phogs
Typo Man
Zarvot
Since my previous post Crimzon Clover has gotten a physical release opened for preorder. Which is awesome, the game deserves it. The rest of my list stands, but what should I hope for now in place of Crimzon Clover? I'll cross my fingers for a Lost in Random physical copy.
EA gave us an Unravel Two physical release in Europe.

Actraiser Renaissance (please!)
DELTARUNE (when it's finished) + UNDERTALE
Nintendo eShop Collection (incl. BOXBOY!+BOXGIRL!, The Stretchers, Good Job!, Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon & the Blade of Light, and Super Mario Bros. 35)
DOOM ETERNAL
I'd get a Yooka-Laylee Double Pack and Axiom Verge Double Pack.
I already got the La Mulana 1&2 Hidden Treasures Edition and the Guacamelee! One-Two Punch Collection.
AQUA KITTY UDX
Does a really good job reimagining both Defender and Uridium style shmups. It has a good amount of stages, but it's so addicting you wish it had more.
ROCK BOSHERS DX - Director's Cut
Almost a one-screen puzzle at times, disguised as a topdown twinstick shooter with beautifully crafted stages. You can also choose between NES and ZX Spectrum graphics. This made me very nostalgic. It feels like a lost gem from the 8-bit era! My favourite of the 3.
IRON CRYPTICLE
Very arcadey "Smash TV"-roguelike multiplayer dungeoncrawler with tons of items to fill out your collection and secrets to find. Unlike the other Tikipod games (that have a stage select) this is a permadeath and only saves the highscore, your item collection, and unlocked achievements. It's not as long as the other games but the randomness in it, various difficulties, 4-player co-op, and finding the missing items makes this highly replayable.
If they made a physical collection and put in their brandnew metroidvania ASTRO AQUA KITTY as the main attraction, I would pre-order it in a second.
All their games are polished and have a fun story with nice characters and well-designed graphics. If you like reimagined retro games that are on the quality level of something like Shovel Knight, then you're in for a treat with Tikipod's games.
