I do have an online subscription but i don't see myself spending much time online with this game. I figure at 24 dollars it isn't going to get much cheaper so I'm tempted to just go for it. I heard they added a single player mode but it's pretty basic. Anyone got this? Would you say it's worth it?

Although the game can technically be played offline. All of the rpg stat progression and character unlocks are saved server-side. So once the servers for the game eventually go offline, everything you worked for will be inaccessible. Don't get me wrong, the Switch port is well done, I just want you to know what you're getting into if you make the purchase.

I know it'll be a while before that happens but still bummer! If i unlock all the different Jason's and then one day it's all gone that'll blow! I guess i just thought the game might be cool cause I'm a fan of the series but since it depends so heavily on online play it's sorta not such a good investment. Kinda wish they'd just made a single player game. Not sure how that would have worked though. A kill em up adventure starring Jason perhaps?
