Bought a Switch approximately one week ago at Gamestop. Been having a lot of fun with it, but I've noticed a visual quirk and I want to make sure I'm not totally insane: My Switch is noticeably a bit darker/dimmer on the right side of the screen (enclosing pictures below). It is most noticeable on the basic white background theme. It is sorta bothering me, but I'm also someone who legitimately obsesses over things like this. Here's my question:
1.) Can anyone else see it?
2.) Is this a known problem with the Switch's screen? Or is it a symptom of LCDs altogether (uniform brightness?)
3.) Should I try to contact Nintendo or just ignore it? What would they likely say/do if I did contact them?
4.) Should I just ignore it and have fun with my Switch (since I don't have any dead pixels or other visual anomalies)...?
Yeah looking at those picks it is very noticeable. But even though I am active reading about Switch news since months before the thing launched, I haven't run into this before. If it is only a week old, I say take it back to Gamestop and get it replaced. If they can't/won't then contact Nintendo, it should be under warranty. You'll just have to deal with mailing it in and waiting.
