@Quarth They're also pretty weak to fire, IIRC.They got some moss on 'm so... maybe they're secretly Grass-types?

Also, just killed the Demon Firesage and the Centipede Demon. Figured I might as well get the Demon Ruins and Lost Izalith over with so I can get back to the good stuff ASAP.

@Quarth battleaxe and pyromancy worked well for me.

You're probably thinking that i gave 30 humanitys to save solaire but i didn't advance his questline so he was pretty safe xD

I've never struggled with the stone guardians. You can get 2 or 3 hits in while they're just getting up.

Is there an easier way to see anything at all in the tomb of the giants? I feel like I just need to leave this area because it's just too hard to see anything and one step and I'm dead or run into a large skeleton and fall off an edge fighting it.

To answer your question there are 3 ways there is a lantern that you either drop for the guys that resurrect the skellys or you find one in the tomb of giants
Then there is a miracle
and last you can equip the sunlight maggot

@MERG The thing about this game is I have no clue how far I am. I've gone through most of the Dark root area but no way I'm fighting that Hydra monster yet. I'm deep in the catacombs right now and defeated pinwheel last night. Beyond that area I can't see anything even though I've explored quite a bit but I keep falling and it's not worth it losing all my souls because it's too hard to get them back.

@leoes12 I don't even know what lordvessel is lol. I don't think I have a way yet to see in this so I guess I have to come back.

@Spoony_Tech forget tomb then you are only suppose to do tomb after lordvessel do blighttown if you already done it then go do sen fortress

@leoes12 Haven't done Blighttown yet. Is that the area down where you first find the ghosts? I no long have the items to kill them either. Also I found a secret area with a bonfire and blacksmith and I'm defeating those wheeled skeletons for 400 souls each. I'm using this to my advantage and leveling all I can to +5 before moving on. Not that I know I can see in this area better later I'll leave when I finish with that.

@MERG Yes I'm enjoying it till I hit a bit of a wall. Usually the wall in this game is repeated death over and over again till you figure it out or scream at the tv when lesser demons kill me before I get back to my souls. I've lost probably well over 50k souls and oh what I could do with that lol.

Tomb of the Giants isn't fully explorable until later in the game. If you try it early on, you'll just hit a magic barrier half-way through.

So I shouldn't even be here then, seems like I still have a lot to explore.
