i remember my cousin bringing the first and second Crash Bandicoot to my grandma's house so I can play it on the ps1 and now I can play it on my switch once it comes out.

I currently have been slowly going through the original versions of these games, which has been interesting. So I doubt I'd get this at full price tbh. HOWEVER, being on Switch means if I really get into Crash 2 and 3 like I hope, I could easily justify buying this at a discount at some point, and I wouldn't need a PS4 to do so. So that's pretty cool.
I saw someone point out how surreal it is to see THE PS1 platformer trilogy on a Nintendo system, which is kinda true. And then I realized the first time Crash was on Nintendo was the exact same year as the same happened with Sonic. 2002 must've been crazy for people who really obsessed over the 90s console wars (well that and everything that happened with Squaresoft).
@kkslider5552000 except the fact that those games are much better than the sequels that weren't even developed by the original creators (same goes for Sonic games more or less)
I like a lot Crash 2 and Crash 3. I can't wait to try Crash 3 with better graphics because I never liked Crash 3 graphics. Crash 2 look a lot better even now the third was quite disappointing in tgat regard back then
I used to be a ripple user like you, then I took The Arrow in the knee
@Octane Here's the official boxart from Amazon. No "Internet download/microSD card required" banner at the top, so hopefully that means that all three games are on the cartridge after all. Additionally, this also confirmed that it will be $40 just like the PS4 original.
So hyped for this!

Mario Galaxy is ten years old, and now I feel old.
@Anti-Matter If we're lucky, they'll drop the 1440p textures down to 1080p and that alone will be enough to get it under 16 GBs. After all, the PS4 version is boosted in resolution on the pro.
As a fan of Crash in the past, and me missing out on last year's release of this game on PS4, I am really excited to finally return to Crash! I'm glad to see that they maintained the $40 price as listed on Amazon too, which in my eyes is well worth it for 3 games. Got my fingers crossed for a Spyro HD Collection on Switch in the future too.

It will be interesting to see if they use a 32GB cartridge. The game is $40 so I doubt it, just like I doubt they can squeeze all 3 games onto a 16GB cartridge. Maybe there is afair bit that can be compressed and it won't be as large as the PS4 file.

Yeah - also, to take the DOOM port as an example, it'd appear that Panic Button compressed a lot of the audio files down (which unfortunately made the audio sound a little flat compared to other versions) ..so, although not ideal, that's another way that they could achieve it I guess
