@TheFrenchiestFry wait what was the scene in P5? I know the Persona games have a poor track record with this subject but my old man brain can't remember what happened in P5.

@nessisonett@TheFrenchiestFry oh boy i remember now. That feels like something you'd see on 'Friends'. I have a hard time believing anybody actually finds that funny, Japan or otherwise.
@nessisonett@RupeeClock Ah gotcha, I wasn't sure if they were all real people. I'd still say that could qualify for the list, I can't think of many AAA games that let you play as an explicitly NB person.
Thank you Nintendo for giving us Donkey Kong Jr Math on Nintendo Music
So I've got a question, and I'm asking this with the utmost respect and sensitivity - is there a game you'd recommend to somebody who wants to understand LGBTQ culture better? I live in a part of the US where it's all farms and Jesus, so I have virtually no experience with the subject, but i have a big desire to learn more. Books and movies are okay too 😁

@Losermagnet Hello! That's a good question, Losermagnet it's difficult to recommend just one game/book/movie that will give you the whole spectrum of LGBTQ+ representation, but games like Ikenfell and Night in the Woods have low-key representation that doesn't define the story.
However, if you want to learn more about what it's like to be under the LGBTQ+ umbrella, Dream Daddy is an interesting one (it's about gay middle-aged dads dating!) Life is Strange and Life Is Strange: Before the Storm let you play as a (potentially) queer teenage girl exploring relationships for the first time, and Tell Me Why is about a trans man (although I haven't played it, people have said great things!)
Never stop being excited to learn and grow, and you'll go far
best writer of cow and crab content. most fan of ace attorney, paper mario ttyd, ghost trick, and fantasy life.
My wife and I play Dream Daddy, and it’s pretty fun and certainly interesting in its originality. We legitimately wish we could go to a weekend farmer’s market in a gay dad suburb in real life. I’m a glowing recommendation away from grabbing Paradise Killer in a sale, so I’ll be watching to see if anyone has something to say about that one.
