Ok, I've decided to call it a day with DANMAKU. I've got a screen pic of my high-score. What website do I need to upload it to. I've sworn off social media like Twitter and FB. So I need another method. Cheers.

After a rather meagre 16 runs on DANMAKU UNLIMITED this week, my highest score was...

Managing to upload the photo was probably a more impressive feat, lol!

@Lroy just noticed you are doing Type BB runs.
You might be making it yourself a bit more difficult without realising.
While it does have a higher damage output, you narrow both your beams considerably.
Might I suggest you try a Type A-B instead?
That way, you keep your powerful focuses laser beam, but your normal shot will be significantly wider and thus it will take out a lot more if the smaller enemies that probably overwhelm you with a B-B setup.

I'm going to try and see if I can up my own score but I don't really feel confidant about it tonight.
Don't know why. Just a feeling I'm not focus send enough right now for that kind of insanity.

@meppi64 I just had a few goes and man oh man, my linear vision is way out tonight lmao! So no...maybe tomorrow lol.

@GrailUK hehe. Yeah, you really have to be on your game for this kind of stuff.
On a bad day, you just don't stand a chance and if you keep going anyway, you'll start wondering how you even did it in the first place.

Thank you for the welcome. Also, I want to mention that I like how a leaderboard is kept live as well so we can continue to attempt high scores even though the competition time has ended.

I feel pretty comfortable submitting this as my final submission for this week. Nowhere near the top scores, but I bought this game right after reading the NL review and played it 3 times on easy and broke 1M once. Then I joined this group, my skills and score improved and I had a lot of fun. Looking forward to what's in store next week. GG everybody!

@mauhlin12 That's awesome! That's exactly what makes groups/competitions like this a lot of fun. It helps people improve on their play quite a bit.

I finally perfected the second stage by going through it without getting hit. BUT! Of course, I somehow lost my multiplier!! Nooooo!

I guess this will be my final submission. At least I finally broke 100 million.

Some of you guys are knocking the scores out of this Galaxy!!!

This game is crazy. Reading through the thread I’ve got a lot of work to do as I’m barely hitting 10 Million. I see I need to do a lot more grazing and changing up how I play.

At first I didn’t like this game much...but it’s getting strangely addicting the more I play. Definitely better in Tate mode! I will list a hopefully more competitive score by Friday.

I bought Danmaku Unlimited today so got just over 24 hours to see if I can decent score..

@hybridseed Good luck with Danmaku Unlimited 3, it's tough going.

The open leaderboards are for Caravan Mode only at the moment. I just added them last week. It seems to be the easiest way to do it at the moment as there are scores there waiting to be challenged. Sorry if you played High score mode hoping to get on them. I've added your Caravan score to the Open Leaderboard though

Just look at how my scores jumped up, it only takes one good run to beat it.

My main problem right now is not being able to get past the level 4 boss.
I thought for sure I had him this time with 2 life to spare. Played it as smart as I could with tactical bombs instead of auto bombs, but his last form completely destroyed me.
Especially those laser beams with a split second tell before they fire. I just was not ready for that!
One day I'll get to see how level 5 will destroy me, I'm sure of it.

I had 35 million after the first boss and 91 after the second one. Never got that high before. Made a couple of mistakes in level 3 and 4, but that boss...

BTW, really great to see people keep joining in on the fun.
