I haven’t gone on a nook island tour in nearly a week. Don’t see the point much now. I have bamboo and the rare tulips and hyacinths, although I wouldn’t say no to a few more. You can’t create tarantula island anymore you can only visit the official one. The one time I tried to create it was when Nintendo had patched it out already. I have seen the butterfly island, the money rock one and the trash island. There are a few I haven’t seen but I rather save my nook miles.

@BenAV Great advice, thanks Ben I can see that the bamboo island may get to be a disappointment once we've been there once or twice. I didn't get much out of the visit I just had besides the bamboo, a tarantula and 2 atlas moths. I fished for ages but just kept pulling up fish I already have so gave up after about the 9th one!
Its good to have this forum to come to so I can ask advice etc, thanks everyone
Getting the bamboo island a second time can be nice to get a stack of young spring bamboo. There's a lot of crafting recipes that use it and a low spawn rate. The bamboo shoots too: those are needed for the bamboo lamp at least. But after two or three times, the bamboo island isn't that helpful.
@Bmartin001 from my experience, yes. My island had oranges as the native fruit. Using nook miles I could find islands that had peaches. I never saw any other fruit. In fact, the only way I grew the others was to trade online.

@BenAV I need to shake trees more. My behaviour and habits have changed over the last four weeks. I hardly shakes tree anymore or chop for wood. I badly want more recipes. Will start shaking trees again.

@meeto_1 Opposite for me. I completely forgot for ages at the start but now I've been doing it religiously. I also occasionally go to an island and chop down a bunch of trees if I get the Miles+ goals to chop wood/cut down a tree.
@Bmartin001 As far as beach trees, if there are bananas in the game, I haven't seen any and none of the recipes I've gotten which require multiple fruit types (like the fruit bowl) require a banana, so I'm guessing no, but I don't know.
( I am going to jinx myself ) My first island I get common flower/ fruits/layout of mystery island. Even my store sell the same seeds most of the time. But this new island, seems to give me better rng of mystery island. I got one with hybrid blue and pink Windflowers. also nicer island that I can use as a guide to make mine. And also got once money island too ( I did not travel to Mystery often this new game. But did for the old one ) And I also gotten Rose and Lilies in the store. Did not mention here cos I was doing the TT so I can open my Terraforming ( I already have that on the old game so I don't want to waste time waiting for it again. ) But now I know I get those seeds in store a couple time, once my island fix, I can invite when they are in store.
