@CaleBoi25 Yeah, hopefully decorating your town/island will be easier in the next game, the same as how you could decorate your home by dragging stuff with a cursor. I remember that Disney Dreamlight Valley had a mode like that for decorating your town in that game.
"Give yourself the gift of being joyfully you."

Ask if you want to be Switch friends with me, but I'd like to know you first. Thanks! ❤️
@Anti-Matter Awesome! I didn’t get into this game until a couple of years ago, but it has still been a fun time! I hope the next entry isn’t too far away. Also, these photos of yours are really neat! Keep up the good work!
I haven’t heard played anything before New Lear, but I’ve heard that the villagers could get interesting with their dialogue. Now it seems like the only times they get weird is when they suddenly lose all of their brain cells and say something really stupid. Should future entries bring back the more colorful dialogue (I personally hope they do)?
@StewdaMegaManNerd
I don't care with the dialogue.
I just only care with my villagers that I can keep them forever.
I'm glad in ACNH it has less yada yada yada that I will skip quickly.
If Switch 2 heavily decreases loading times for their games, this will be a huge one I'd want to revisit. The loading takes up so much of the game's time and is one of the most annoying parts of the game, it could really benefit from the power increase.
@PikminMarioKirby I feel like the most annoying waiting was not really loading but the 5 minutes it takes to do anything involving an internet connection.
@PikminMarioKirby Yeah, that’s definitely one of the biggest problems with these games. I also hope they don’t bring back the “breaking tools” system that plagues New Horizons. And it’d also be really nice if they made the villagers lifelike again. The dialogue in New Horizons is pretty boring, with Blathers and Brewster being the only characters really worth talking to. And for the love of God, they need to tone down the Jocks. Scoot’s on my island, and I need to start flying to Mystery Islands in order to find someone to convince to move to my island so that I can finally have a chance of getting him out of there. He is so arrogant and annoying. I don’t know if all of the Jocks are like that, but I still tend to avoid them.
Does anybody know if repeatedly buying fakes from Redd incentivizes him to only sell fakes? I’ve bought ‘em a couple of fakes hoping that he would replace them with real ones at his RV shop, but he just keeps replacing them with more fakes.
@StewdaMegaManNerd I'm fairly sure it's random each time, independent of what you bought before. Most commonly, exactly 1 is real though occasionally most are real or all can be fake.
If you're having trouble finding which is fake vs real, there are guides online.
@StewdaMegaManNerd
If you got the fake art, the twins Timmy & Tommy will not even accepting the counterfeit art stuffs to be sold.
The fake arts can be good for display purpose on your island.
@FishyS I already know to use a guide, I just purposefully buy fakes when that’s all there is, as the selection won’t update either until the following Monday or if you purchase one of the artifacts on offer. But lately Redd’s only been selling fakes.
Wait, are you buying after the weekly reset or before? I think the chance of getting new real art is pretty low before the full reset. So you may be getting unlucky but not massively unlucky.
@FishyS I haven’t played the game online much, but that would hopefully be fixed on Switch 2 if they can make the online better.
@StewdaMegaManNerd Breaking tools is one of my least favorite changes in New Horizons. It just feels unnecessary to me. It was fine when it was just the axe so it could limit cutting down every single tree in the town so easily, but it doesn’t make sense with the endless amount of bugs and fish.
@Gorlock Jumping mini games seems like a popular feature in games like this lately — Fae Farm also has them and Hello Kitty Island Adventure.
Personally I've always wished AC had more jumping 😆 I do feel like genre-crossing puzzles should be optional in games though so people who don't like them don't get stuck.
