@Lroy I'll have to put together the update for the Official Sega Saturn magazine issue 23 I have just finished for the website, so it can go live tomorrow.
This will take about 4 hours more or less, but I should be able to play in the evening.
Doesn't necessarily have to be Rocket League either btw.

@Kodos I was also thinking of ordering a physical copy of Thimbleweed Park, but I also saw it for $9.99 on the eshop, which is tempting for that price. Not sure if that discount is only on the US eshop though.

@meppi64 No worries. Best of luck with it. Not sure if I'm online tonight or not. Think wife is off work. Depends if the Mrs. fancies playing SPLATOON 2 I guess, lol!

@Lroy Sorry I was in a game there. I'll join you for a couple of matches but need to give me 20 minutes or so. Going to have something to eat.

Jumping on SPLATOON 2 with the Mrs. Few Turf Wars to begin and then Salmon Run if anyone wants to join in? Salmon Run room will be 1, 2, 3, 4. Will set it up by 9pm. Turf Wars until then.

@Meesh Thimbleweed is also discounted on the EU eshop. Played it to the end, took me about 25 hours (yes I took my time). Really enjoyed it though, very reminiscent of all Lucas games of the old. So I would say if you are a fan of point and click adventures and a bit of a collector, then buy it physical. If you just plan to have one play through and don't really mind having physical releases, go digital. Either way, you won't be disappointed!

@meppi64 True. Then again it's great to have an opportunity to play online with a community you are part of rather than with random strangers. But as you said, plenty more of opportunities to come!

@Fafounet Yeah, I'm much more inclined to play online now than I have been over the past 2 years.
My PS+ laps this September and I wasn't going to renew it. Still won't actually since all I ever played there was BF1 with my best friend.
But EA completely messed up the series to the point where it's no fun at all anymore, so we're not going to be buying any more Battlefield games. Well won't for sure. Unless they port Bad Company 2 to the Switch.
So I was fine playing no online multiplayer anymore besides a random game of Mario Kart, Arms or Splatoon, but playing with randoms just isn't much fun at all. Especially when you have to depend on them.
So these last couple of weeks, I've played more online with our small group here than I had in quite a few previous months.
Doesn't matter to me how goes someone is, it's all about trying to get better and have fun in the process, with the emphasis on the latter.

@Fafounet Hope you're feeling better. As for another occasion. My wife is basically addicted to Salmon Run, so whenever that is on Fri-Sun, we'll be up for a good few runs on that mode of SPLATOON 2.

@Meppi Been great having games with you online and the Arcade High-Score crew these past couple of months.

Great to see more and more of us here in the 'Adult Switch Gamers' thread also jumping online together. I'd seldom ever play online otherwise if it wasn't for this community.

@meppi64 I'm in the same boat, PS+ lapsed two months ago and didn't renew. Have not looked back since.
@Lroy well may not be able to join every week end as my wife is not a gamer, but will do so whenever allowed
