@Thundertron55 So, the game still has weird pauses every now and again?

It's good to know performance is improved overall, though, and the worst of it has been patched out.

Your post was very helpful, thank you.

@Ralizah
Your welcome! I'm glad I was able to help! The pauses are very brief and far between though so it doesn't really hinder the game unless you are REALLY sensitive to FPS drops. Have a good day and "may the light illuminate your path".

I'm somewhat disappointed by Nyakuza Metro.

It was marketed as Hat Kid going all gangster and getting to lie, cheat, steal, and intimidate people, but the actual gameplay is just regular old platforming. And then it ends so anticlimactically, you go through this escape sequence with the Empress chasing you and then in the end she corners you in an elevator and I was thinking "oh, boss battle time". But nope, two police officers get on and she gets scared off and you get the Time Piece. It's a fun open world level to run and jump around in, but GTA this is not and it feels falsely advertised in that sense.

I've been interested in this game for a while, especially because I like 3D platformers and its soundtrack is really good (I've bought a few games because the soundtrack got me interested, namely Fez and VVVVVV). Can those who've played it here recommend it on Switch?

@PikaPhantom It's definitely a charming fun game, like they say. I would agree the music good. Some songs really impressed me. I'm halfway into it, I think? The jump & dive mechanic is so similar to Mario's, it's a good familiar feel, it's nice!

Heads up: In the first world, Mafia Town, there's mission to turn off big faucets around town. I had to youtube how to turn them off. You've got to stand on the curved spout so you can hit the faucet knob from the side.

@Woomy_NNYes That's great to hear, as the 3D Marios control very smoothly. Think I'll try and get it down the line.

Just resumed A Hat in Time. Holy crap! Act 4: Queen Vanessa's Manor (Subcon Forest) is scary & awesome as hell. It's crazy! I don't like realistic scary, but this scary is awesome.

I just started playing A Hat in Time and I'm really enjoying the game so far. Is the DLC worth getting? Thanks!

Snatcher

@dionysos283 Seal the deal is more of a meeeeh Its pretty hard but It comes with some great skins plus there is a easy mode for it. as for the other one I have no idea I never got to playing it But I heard it was short.

Nintendo are like woman, You love them for whats on the inside, not the outside…you know what I mean! Luzlane best girl!

Sorry for not being active much recently, but I’m very much alive!

@dionysos283 The DLC is very reasonably priced so I'd say go for it if you're enjoying the game and want a bit more content. I never got around to doing too much of the Death Wish mode from Seal the Deal but I really enjoyed both chapters.

@dionysos283 Does the base game include Nyakuza Metro? Because that was my favorite DLC. Seal the Deal is cute thematically, but less fun to actually play. The Snatcher challenges offer a good post-game challenge, having you go through modified sections of levels from the main game. However, I completed roughly a third of them and stopped. You unlock a lot of cosmetic stuff and, as far as I know, they don't feature a story of their own.

Glad to hear you liked the game, I really enjoyed it myself and plan on replaying eventually.

Give me a heads-up if you're going to send a request please.

Ok, so I 100% completed the main game and it was a fun time, but the game also has its flaws. Right now I don't feel the urge to try the DLC. The reviews for the DLC packs also seem to be pretty mixed. Maybe in the future. But I'm curious what Gears for Breakfast will come up next.
