@SwitchplayerJohn I’m in a similar boat as you. I’m actually more interested in playing backlog games on my Switch 2. There will be many great games to come, but for now just getting better versions of games I already bought makes me feel like I’ve got so many new games to choose from. Hopefully MK World is great too.

When you buy the game through the console bundle it comes to £34.00 I guess the only downside for some is it's a digital copy and not physical.

1000% Mario Kart. Most definitely going to play Deltarune unless I somehow play through the whole thing on June 4th. If I have time, I’ll try out Fortnite that same day, and start some old things in my library I’ve been waiting to start for ages, such as Paper Mario TTYD. I’ll probably be up all night on
my Switch 2 and NO ONE CAN STOP ME!!!

I have a bad feeling that most of us with download codes will be unable to download Mario Kart World for the first day or so as the servers get hammered lol

Hopefully I'll be able to sneak in there and download the tears of the kingdom update...

I will be amazed if there is issue of the MKW Digital downloads. eShops been around this long and for that to happen would be a oversight. Not everyone will redeem their MKW Digital Day One as not everyone has a free day to do that. For me it will be the Girl whom steals time and DLC and Switch 2 update for the game first.

@sethfranum Give the console launches the same exact time everywhere, including 9 PM in some places in the US, then I wouldn’t get your hopes up.

@sethfranum There is a lot of eshop activity going on:

• Massive day 1 system update
• Switch 1 to Switch 2 transfers
• Mario Kart World being a download code in the hardware bundle and is the cheapest way to get the game
• BotW upgrade, TotK upgrade and GCN NSO are NSO Expansion Pack perks
• Multiple Switch 1 games are getting free updates
• All 3rd party launch games except Cyberpunk and Rune Factory require a full internet download irrelevant of whether you're going physical or digital

It could go either way. If I recall correctly, the last time the eshop was struggling due to too much activity was Steve being DLC for Smash Ultimate.

Regardless of whether or not I get a Switch 2 in time for launch, I'll almost definitely going to focus on Deltarune.

Girl who steals time is gonna have the Switch 2 update ready for launch? Last I heard it wasn't making launch! When did this happen!
