Honestly, any game any platform, if you have problems that seem to crop up only after extensive play? Best to assume its memory leaks and start taking appropriate measures. Its not like every game has memory leaks, but its a really common issue, especially because it often goes unnoticed except by those playing unusually long unbroken sessions.
That's true. Ive experienced memory leaks in games before. It's definitely something that happens more than one might initially think, because as mentioned, it only affects those who binge for longer sessions, meaning most will never even be aware of the issue.
So ya, any game where you binge for a while and start experiencing pop-in, framerate issues or crashes, assume it's a memory leak, and try saving the game and restarting every few hours moving forward to see if it remedies the problem.

I enjoyed the demo! I gave up trying to figure out splicing (?) (the electronic tile hacking?) and called it a day đ but it was overall a good time! I like the main character's voice, but she is, er, a handsome woman đ
@canaryfarmer Those mini games for splicing, picking locks, and other things, can be disabled in the settings. I was so relieved when I discovered they could be disabled.
@CJD87 How? I couldnât get past it. Someone else had the same in a comment on article here for the demo đ€ Maybe you already linked your Nintendo account with Ubisoft? I havenât and wonât
Yea, downloaded last night and didnât need to login to anything.
Not really a fan of the game, though, unfortunately. Glad I tried the demo before just buying it. Itâs just another AAA adventure game with all the same gameplay and stuff.
@OmnitronVariant I maybe got passed the ubisoft login because I already had an ubisoft account for Trials Rising?
Although, I think you should be able to make an account just by using your exisiting nintendo account login. The account is used for cross platform saves. That's all.
Tried out the demo yesterday and today and while the hair does bother me a bit (guess itâs kind of a thing with the DLSS upscaling), it still seems pretty impressive for what it is.
And if youâve linked your account to a Ubisoft Connect before, it automatically logs into that btw.
But if youâve linked havenât done so, you can at least get around it via airplane mode. (I initially started out with it due to travelling) I think itâd ask you each time youâre connected to the internet though, but donât mind using it myself anyways.
Overall I enjoy Ubisoft games a decent amount and seems this has a similar formula to their open world games like Assassinâs Creed.
But got a lot on my plate with games in the meantime anyways so Iâll likely hold off until a sale perhaps.
Assassinâs Creed Shadows also has my interest, but thatâs just days before Prime 4 so it will have to wait.
@CJD87 Same, I know this is gonna be at least 40% off by sometime-December. They seem to be pretty active with updates too, so I kind of want to wait a bit longer to let it get to a better version of itself.
Hi guys. I am thinking about getting Star Wars: Outlaws. How is the Switch 2 version and how is game performance? Also, I heard that the game has some "Stealth" sections? Have those been toned down or made easier? I am not very good at stealth sections in games. Thoughts and help appreciated
