@IceClimbers I had the same luck, it was quite the miserable experience. I'm currently betting it'll be late 2026 before I can land one, these things usually come in-stock when I'm working.

Gamestop in-store is still taking preorders. And don't forget MyNintendo will be sending out invite emails May 8th. With so many having already secured a preorder I imagine a lot of those invites will go unanswered, allowing people further down the list to get a crack at a launch day order.

@JaxonH I'll try it, but I won't be not working during Gamestop's hours until Saturday so my hopes are p low. And I'm still expecting the invite list to not make it all the way through for literal years, so it's really up to where I am on it.

Feels like Nintendo is continuing to expand services into other regions, and more of Southeast Asia is a start there.

@Ralizah I was scared that Bestbuy would leave me hanging forever last night- but I ended up getting one thankfully. Just hope I can keep that pre-order.

I swear my local Walmart is so confusing. Accessories like the AC adaptor and case are out of stock, but there are still consoles available lol. How does that even happen?

There's a lot more launch exclusives (be it full exclusive, console exclusive or Nintendo console exclusive) coming to Switch 2 than I realized

I started Yakuza Kiwami on Switch (a quality game and quality port btw) which is often ranked right behind Yakuza 0 and is debated as being an equally good starting point. I remember when we were complaining the Yakuza director wouldn't bring the games to Switch. Now we have the 2 best games and 2 best starting points, one being a very beefed up timed exclusive.

How times have changed.

Well I feel accomplished. Got the bundle pro controller and 1TB SD card. I’m ready for next gen.

With more bad news I keep finding from Switch 2, I became less and less interested with Switch 2 and probably it will be my FINAL Nintendo machine I will buy.
Code in box again on Switch 2, game key cards, the laziness of some 3rd party developers.
It's straight disrespect toward customers.
If I get Switch 2 machine someday, it will be very late.
I can keep adding more Switch 1 games I have never played with game data inside their cartridge , buy the OLED edition for additional upgrade and call it a day.
Switch 2 is suddenly looked very sour to me.

Has anyone played the modern Hitman titles? World of Assassination seems to be very highly regarded and has multiple games worth of content and expansions.

I played the older title brought to Switch and was surprised by how much I enjoyed it. But despite owning this on Steam I never played it.

@JaxonH I'm in a family plan with a bunch of friends and for whatever reason only the owner of the plan is eligible for the preorder email from Nintendo, sadly.

I can try going to a Gamestop but it's a bit difficult with the hours I work.

First I hoping that Pokémon NS2 Patches for Scarlet & Violet will come Day 1 or in first 10 days?!
Secondly I wish NS2 have some Waterproof aka is playable for 10 or less minutes under like: Mist, Light/Medium/Heavy Rains & Snowing?!

Random tangent. I saw a trending post on Reddit doing a compare/contrast of the Oblivion Remake to Breath of the Wild Switch 2 Edition. Specifically the pricing and how Nintendo was evil because Bethesda is including the DLC and Nintendo is charging you for it. Yada, yada, yada. Queue seals clapping

The thing is but, and not dismissing the value of the Oblivion Remake, Bethesda is charging $85AU for it and there's a $99AU Deluxe Edition. And it's a remaster of a 20 year old game. Meanwhile the Switch 2 Edition of BotW is $110AU but there's an option for a $20AU upgrade if you own the Switch version. Which they're including in NSO+ which, lets be real, a lot of people are getting for other things anyways. And it's an 8 year old game. And they're doing the same deal for Tears of the Kingdom which is only 2 years old

But you know, "Nintendo bad" so lets all clap along yeah?

@skywake The funny thing is, these same people will on another forum or Reddit thread be up in arms about how expensive Oblivion Remaster is because it isn’t a full blown remake that does all the things hundreds of free mods can do, or that Skyblivion is going to do.

@skywake different topic but what are you thinking after seeing the motherboard scans? Hopefully node is confirmed soon. Seen a site recently covering it and they have a very weird setup for the CPU. It’s not 8 A78C cores.

@Buizel No. But it’s also not new. I have seen letters from magazines back in the 90s that aren’t a million miles away from what people say online. It’s just that magazines got to choose whether these opinions were made public.
