Before posting a Youtube video with a clickbait title here and expecting us to watch it, maybe you could explain a bit of the context here? Why does this Youtuber think Nintendo is pushing gamers to piracy? I'm not gonna click on the link before I know what the video is about.

OK, OK, don't go cuckoo on me!.. the main point in the video is the increased price in games is driving gamers to illegal activities in increasing numbers and I'm not saying I agree with it all, I know that game pricing is a subject that has been covered many times before in different forums, I just thought that some points raised here were valid and needed further discussion.
I do think there's a lot to be said for how developers and big game company's treat there customers and if it pushes them to feel any loyalty to them or not.
Im 44 and can tell you a life time of interactions with games companies both personal and those of people I know...
A few quick ones, my Commodore Amiga got a Virus, it wiped all my game discs and the companies my mum contacted for help, asking if they'd send out a replacement disc showing receipts to prove purchase resulted in no help at all, in the end a little old guy who pirated games from his garage took all my real discs and blanked them off to make sure they were virus free and then wrote the original games back onto them, from this point on all my Amiga stuff was pirate
Flashed forwards years later my best friends PS1 came with a third party memory card, it failed losing all his saves he wrote to Sony asking for help, they wrote a really pleasant response saying how sorry to hear this they were but they couldn't do anything about the saves but here have a free official memory card, the guy went on to have more real PS1 games than anyone.
Prices will raise it will affect piracy but I think companies general attitudes and how good or bad they are to people in there interactions can do even more..
Back when I'm on computer not phone I'll type out and awful one involving Nintendo from the 3DS days.
I'm not watching a guy called Angry Guy to find out if his point is based on any sort of notable trend of actual gamers actually going to piracy specifically because of Nintendo's recent choices.
Have an actual remotely credible source next time.
I don't think new Nintendo games are all that easy to pirate (maybe I'm wrong, I am not going to check). Regardless, third party games are still often quite cheap on sale. I feel like the appropriate response to not liking a price of some games is to just not buy those games.
I don't think Nintendo's pricing is pushing me to piracy.
It's just pushing me to buy games from other publishers.
Even ignoring Switch 2, there's several obvious first party Switch games I've not bought yet, despite really wanting to play them, yet I bought Valkyria Chronicles on a whim, a game I'm only interested in via consistent hype and didn't even get that into the Nintendo game that it was constantly compared to (Codename Steam).
Because it was cheap instead of 60 dollars until the heat death of the universe.
